- This family added a bass to their swim pond. This recreation pond is just what this family needed after the 2020 year.
With three small kids its not only a great place to cool off but a great classroom for ecology

For the past 5 months, I have been watching ponds videos and no one compares to your work, bro.💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Hands down killing the pond game‼️
Thank you appreciate that
Art in perfection.,👌
Thank You Donald
I’m glad the algorithm showed me your channel!!! Supper job
Awesome and Thank you lots more projects to come.
Can't even put into words how perfect this looks on this property! This is a project I wish I could see in person. The interview with the owners was well done!
Thank You everything looks better in person
great job, i ran a landscape company for over 35 years and built alot of ponds. you do fantastic work. no one ever asked to make a pool/pond. great concept!!!!!
iv seen thousands of swimming pond videos and I will say this build blew my mind. every time I thought you were almost done you wowed me again. fantastic job!
Thank you
It turned out so great! There is no pool out there that can compare with the natural beauty of a swim pond. You have some happy homeowners. Decker you do some beautiful art! God bless
Thank You so much for your kind words
That interview is so genuine, good job, Allan!
Thank You
What a great testimonial, nice work, Alan and team!
Thank You
I take it the pink stuff is some sort of cushioning for the large boulders, so they don't damage the liner. The customer's response and enjoyment of the process is golden.
Thank You and yes to protect liner
@@deckerspondscapes9291 , great pond from the UK. What is the pink foam as it needs to be fish safe. Thanks some awesome projects.
Nice job and merry Christmas and happy new year.

Thank You

Thank You
Beautiful pond!
Thank You
❤️❤️❤️
Great video
Thank You
Love how you captured the whole build. What were you using for the rock pads? I bet it also helps with getting the straps out. Lol. Thanks for all you do to help us in the field by sharing your knowledge.
For the big rocks we use an insulation board and exactly right easy strap removal
Very nice swimming pond. I love the size and the terraforming. I wish you can offer your service in Singapore and Malaysia. We can’t find a good pond builder like you here. 😊
Wow sounds like a amazing road trip 😂😂😂😂
I have 2 large, perfect and lovely CAC pondless features and this makes me envious, but we are at 9200' elevation and can not sustain a pond with our weather :(
That’s unfortunate but at least you have the sound of water
@@deckerspondscapes9291 they are beyond wonderful... but I do miss my fish at our old house. You do amazing work!
Have u ever used a tilt/rotator? A big grapple with rotate would b great
We have tried a lot of equipment but for us a excavator is the best route Thank you
Are there pros and cons for the power heads vs the jets? Do you always try to do the jets, or is there situations where power heads are the better option? I'm more asking about good size koi ponds rather than rec ponds.
Love this interview with the clients. This job turned out amazing.
There is situations where we will use one over the other case by case
Epic. Have a question on your jets in the deepest section. For winters when the fish settle down there to hibernate, do you anticipate that and close off those lower jets to not lose that warmer water level? Thanks.
Yes we shut the pumps down and use an. Aerator or heater to keep a hole in the ice.
That way we can put it at right depth
They have been back for generations? Looking forward to what my friends from years ago have done to this pond. Great job…..
Not sure what you mean
@@deckerspondscapes9291 actually, not sure my friend! Might have been referring to another YT clip, but am definitely interested in your pond, and having fish in it! Looking forward to the progress. Good luck, looks good thus far! Waiting for the fish!

Awesome! Just waiting on my lottery win. 😂
Keep us in mind 😂😂
@@deckerspondscapes9291 haha. Why? Do you travel to Australia?
I have been there a couple years ago .
We visited with Patrick Hadley
We stayed at Woodforia and North Queensland
A bunch of us built a feature at a zoo
@@deckerspondscapes9291 I think I saw a video on that recently.
Amazing love it what does one like this cost
Over $100K.
Home run!
Thank You
Okay, this is absolutely amazing but the question I'm sure you get more often than anything else is how much does something like this cost?
Smaller Recreation ponds start around 100k and go up from there
@@deckerspondscapes9291 holy shiite... I've got some saving to do. I think I'll just have to wait until I sell my current house and find a good spread of property and have my dream house built fully equipped with a recreational swimming pond/grotto and separate but attached koi pond
What is there minimum depth for a rec pond?
Really can be what ever you want but ours average 4ft to 6 ft .
You want it at different levels so all ages can enjoy
Very cool. Any way you would say how much that one cost?
Smaller swim ponds start at 100k
If I had the $$$ to buy the land, I'll put in a 10-15acre pond (Private Lake).
do you know anyone who builds these in tampa FL area?
We do travel all over the U.S. and other countries
It just needs to make sense for both parties
You can go to our website and leave all your information and we can have a phone conversation
Www.deckerspondscapes.com
What's the deal with the boulders and large stones. What % of the cost exclusive of hauling charge?
What are you asking
How long does the liner last for?
30 plus
Do you come to Georgia? I have a pond (approx 20' x 60') that I want to make a swim pond.
We can have a conversation if you like , go to our website www.deckersPondscapes.com and click get expert help
@@deckerspondscapes9291 sent you an email. Please let me know if you received it. Thanks
Are there bass in there?
Yes
How do you solve rain problems? Or just let nature take its cos-
Not sure what you mean can you explain
Where the bass at???
They are in there the kids feed them by hand
ua-cam.com/video/qgMImpya60s/v-deo.html
I bet it cost at least 10 grand and well worth it
More like 100k. Smaller rec ponds start around 100k and only gets more expensive the larger the pond gets.
Its the price they charge ..... like how much goes to the builders cos the materials can not cost $500,000
It’s very very nice, but the Bass aren’t gonna get to swim far, it’s like a aquarium!
Thank you there small so to them right now it’s big
When they get big they go to a bigger home
Nice pond....did they put bass in it later?
Yes the kids feed them worms by hand
Why such huge stones? If a hole is formed and water begins to escape, anyone has to clean all these stones again. This is terrible!
🤣🤣🤣 everything has to be to scale and liner is double protected
On the positive side it looks great them
