    Drenched in a delicate palette of both soft, and saturated hues, this piece evokes an air of history and poetic elegance to Metz's historic charm, highlighting the fusion of Metz's rich history with its contemporary allure.
    The work was inspired by one of my recent trips to the city. I aim to create a fusion of memory and a sense of place in my creations

    I just saw a video you made two months ago where you seemed to be really struggling with this process. What amazing progress you've made!

      The learning curve was big but I finally feel like I understand the medium so much better. Thanks for noticing!!!

    How do you print it on CMYK? Is that a printer setting or the image setting? Do you use a home printer? Been thinking of investing in a laser printer so I don’t have to keep going to staples

      I change it into CMYK for the image settings and then I make sure I hit color print for the laser print out. I hope that helps.
      I use the printer at my school which is a multi functional Laser Printer called Triumph Adler. I am not an expert on the different types of laser printers.

    Can you use the original for more than one print? (Literally just learned gelli prints were a thing, and I am curious!)

      I'm curious to know too!

      It’s a monotype. So it’s only one print

      Hi, I LOVE this look! But I don't understand what u mean when u say reverse painting and then place Bristol board? Do u mean u place and lift the image, what remains u wait for it to dry, then do u add paint on various areas , wait for that to dry, then go over with, say plain white, and put down a piece of paper and weigh it down with 'bristol board' and wait for an hour or 2 and then pull it up?? Do u have a full video on it? I'm going to check out your site and see!!

      You do just fine, we pronounce it without the "t", so it's actually "Mess" with a smile, (not a mess though😂). Btw, love your work!

    My prints look great on the plate but if I let them dry they don't pull😢

    Can you use a inkjet printer?

    • @bluelavaart
      @bluelavaart  9 місяців тому +1

      It doesn’t really work that well with inkjet. Laser toner has plastic in it which repels the acrylic paint which makes this process work
