3 Ways To Cut a One Length Bob
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 жов 2015
- How do YOU cut the perimeter of a Bob? Do you use two fingers to hold the section of the hair, the comb to brace the hair or do you use a single finger or the edge of your palm to hold the hair against the skin?
Learn more about this technique at
www.samvilla.com/blog/3-ways-...
When we speak about cutting ‘one-length’ what we really want to do is cut the hair at the lowest elevation possible at the hair’s natural fall. So, which one is the correct technique?
At Sam Villa we think there is a purpose for everything and we want to make sure you have all the information to make the best decision. There is no right or wrong technique for cutting all one-length. While all three options are beneficial it’s important to understand the end result each technique will give us.

I use the 2nd and 3rd option mostly. I would love to see how you layer shorter bobs. Fine hair vs thick hair.

aah okay thank you! very helpful. often i find in college when i use fingers for tension when cutting a bob, that there are bit of hair underneath that i look uneven ? i couldn't understand why so this make sense. i'll try the freehand way and see if i find a difference

You forgot to talk about how head position effects the final look.
Very true! We talk about that a lot in our classes... sounds like it's time for a new video :-)
I didn't understand nothing
123 go
Funny story for all...
I went to a Paul Mitchell's school for a trim.
My thoughts.. if the stylist didnt understand what i was wanting her instructor would! Logical. I thought. Murphy's Law says otherwise!
My stylist...DEAF. couldn't hear one sound. Her INTERPRETER. . .. knew NOTHING about cutting hair.
Not only can i NOT communicate what i want...
My stylist's inability to hear me combined with the fact that ANYTHING important is always lost in translation meant i was still going to strike out!
My haircut was even further away than any other time!
SMH and still LMAO!!
