All the how-to haircut videos I've seen so far, your tutorials are the "Aha! moment" for me. Thank you!

Yes! I've seen a lot of videos that just SHOW what to do. They don't really explain it, or not enough for me to understand anyway. This guy gets it. I need the scientific topographical breakdown!

I don't know what I would do w/o your tutorials! I am a student who has very little, to no instruction due to low teacher to student ratio. I want to be the best of the best and by creating these videos you are allowing me to be just that! Thank you!!

I love all these videos! can't wait for the next. I'm currently a cosmetology student at the Aveda Institute in nyc and still early into my course. I love how all the videos on this channel just adds more to my understanding. My class actually has a private Facebook page and best believe a lot of the videos on this channel makes it to our discussion! keep it coming! you're all doing a great job!

Thank you so much for giving an in depth explanation om hair cutting. I went to a great cosmetology school and had a difficult time understanding these hair cutting concepts. Unfortunately, my hair cutting skills are weak and found out that I have a learning disability and the angles, shapes, and direction of hair movement didn't make sense. My teachers would stand with me and guide me, but they had to let me learn on my own to make the connection, but nope, didn't work. It takes a long time for me to hair cut because I have to think about what i'm doing before I dig in to my first snip. Any who, great video and series. I look forward to learning more :)

I am student trying to learn on Zoom during this crazy COVID outbreak! Wondering if you can explain over directing to a visual plane a little more. I can visualize over directing back and forward, and what that would look like, but the visual plane thing threw me a bit. Thanks a bunch!

Great way of teaching as usual.
Please Andrew I want a tutorial about the silhouette. What determines the sillouette. I read it is determined by height and width. What else?
Regarding the V shape hair cut, does It have an inverted triangle form? Or it is a mix of two forms? I feel lost. Thank you
I hope that you explain hair cut form in your way.

Thanks for these videos. Excellent explanations of techniques wish i could spend a month learning from you full time! Could you clarify the visual plane you referred to please. When standing behind head and cutting to a visual line would the sections be pulled at 90° to head or slightly overdirected?

DIANE samsung the ones at the natural fall would not be over directed but as your sections move around the head they start to become over directed as you are bringing them back to that plane you created (where you are standing) as your reference point, hope that makes sense.
