I'm really digging the new album so far. It's a bit more of a 'pop' vibe to it than Acid Tongue, but that's fine. Although, I did prefer the heavier tone that The Next Messiah and Jack Killed Mom had. Still sounds great!

Whoaha just listend to this on Lauren Lavern Radio 6 had to come and reaffirm my "well shit whats happened to Artistic integrity" my partner thought at one point in another room it Was Tom Petty \ tribute or Karaoke! Not a single surely are we going to be inflicted with this daily? Lyrically it may stand up sonically its tedium we personally don't need.
A single is your kick of the blocks for an album etc thres some brilliant magpies out there Jack White for one but this is taking the very young and not yet musically aware for Aaa cash in, "and it aint christmas yet"

Obsessed with this song but at the same time does anybody else get major Tom Petty 'Free Fallin' vibes from the riffs in this?! I mean, i love that too so no complaints but..
Actually, I get a sort Roling Stones "Gimme Shelter" vibe from the riffs. But that might just be me.
I get what you're hearing, but I hear more of the "Gimme Shelter" thing too. It's like a mix of those two songs with a disco flavor. I definitely dig the song though.
Katie Oberst I also hear a bit of Joan Armatrading's "Free" in the chorus.

Pretty tune, pretty voice - but there's something terribly bland, and weirdly cheap and shoddy about the production.
Can't put my finger on why - but this is Radio 2-only stuff.
the production is top notch, Ryan Adams doesnt fuck around
