For number four, I thought it completely make sense that the "some black cats are black" is inside the CATS category... I thought it was the most sensible
The very first way I drew it was the most general. The other two are special cases of the first. The second drawing is the special case where the rightmost area of the first drawing is empty, and the third is where all regions of black in the first drawing are empty except the intersection of black and cats. I wouldn't go to that way if drawing it first myself, but it does represent one of the possible universes where the premises are met. My reason for showing all these different ways was only to demonstrate that it is not possible to draw the premises without the conclusion being present. Every universe that includes the premises also includes the conclusion. So the argument is valid. As long as you understand the goal is TO DISPROVE then you are golden. Thank you for writing and watching the video. MrR
It is not a valid argument. A counter-example can be drawn which satisfies all the required premises but which does not contain the conclusion. So the conclusion is not necessarily implied by the premises. The argument has holes. Remember a logical argument is only considered true if the application of the premises necessarily implies the conclusion. You're goal then is not to show that the conclusion could happen, but rather that it is possible to check off all the boxes (satisfy all the premises) above the line, and end up with something other than the conclusion in your result. You goal is to disprove.

OMG i wish you could be my teacher!! thanks!
Your video really helped! Thx a lot!!!
So is number 6 valid or not valid?
