Cleveland Angels '12 @ Clippers 2012 (2024.08.24)

In a thrilling matchup between the Cleveland Angels '12 and Clippers 2012, it was the Clippers who came out on top with a narrow 5-4 victory. The game started off strong for the Angels as they scored two runs in the top of the first inning. Shelby and Emma both hit singles, setting up Paiton for a clutch triple that brought in two runs.
The Clippers fought back in the bottom of the second inning, scoring three runs to take a 3-2 lead. Despite their best efforts, the Angels were unable to respond offensively in their next at-bat. However, they came back strong in the top of the third inning with Shelby reaching on an error and Harper adding another single. Paiton then tied up the score with an RBI before being retired.
Unfortunately for Cleveland, it was not enough as Clippers 2012 rallied back once again in their half of the third inning to score two more runs and secure a slim lead of 5-4. Both teams displayed impressive defensive plays throughout this intense battle for victory.
Shelby led offensively for Cleveland with one single and one reach on error, while Paiton showcased her power at bat with an impressive triple. Harper also contributed with a solid single. Although it was not enough to secure them a win this time around, there is no doubt that these young athletes gave it their all on both offense and defense during this exciting game.
