You are without doubt the very best at this sort of instructional cooking and recipe presentation. A real chef for the people. So glad I found you. Please live long and prosper.
@ Collin Wadham - Yes, I agree he's the best at these vids. He's not intimidating and makes me believe I can take on ANYTHING, even some of the fancy, holiday foods! 😉
Saw this video yesterday, bought the ingredients this morning and came straight home to make it. It is sitting in the freezer with me chomping at the bit. Licked the mixing bowl out clean as could be, no need to wash it hahaha. Thanks, this one is a keeper
I made the coffee ice cream. A big WOW!. Now I am going to try my other favorite, Carob & Honey (which I can't find in stores anymore). I will do 600 ml (2 1/2 cups) whipping cream, 3 Tbls Carob Powder, 2 Tbls water, 5 oz sweetened condensed milk, 2 Tbls Honey. The Carob takes longer to mix with water, so take the time to break up clumps til smooth. I love this way more than chocolate. Big Hugs for this great method.
It's officially my most used UA-cam recipes. Being able to concoct my own add ins, like strawberry-rhubarb, is a great incentive to just keep making my own!
That's wrong !!! 1 cup (US cup) is 240ml 1 cup (UK cup/AUS cup) is 250ml. If you check the cup it will say. You can multiply/divide measurements to get different results. :)
It is the best part of the videos sometimes it just shows you the fun you will have learning it. Yes I did make the coffee ice cream first *chuckles* great idea and now I understand how the ingredients are working a lot clearer.
Jennifer Kent I chop up fresh mint leaves in my garden and blitz with the cream, milk, sugar and vanilla extract. You can add mint extract. Then I stir in broken pieces of dark chocolate mint. Delicious!
Hi Mister Potchef i just made this Sunday morning this delicious icecream. I did it with mixed berry. Just had a little taste now. And I must say the best home icecream ever. I love cooking and I am going to try more of your recipes. I just subscribed now. Greetings from Melbourne 🇦🇺😊
I used strawberry preserves that only had sugar in it and blended the preserves into 3 blocks of cream cheese and 1 can sweetened condensed milk! I also melted some white chocolate in 1/2 Cup of hot cream then set that aside to let it cool while I whipped 1 quart of heavy whipping cream to stiff peaks with vanilla. Fold in everything together, cover finished ice cream with plastic wrap before snapping on your lid to prevent ice crystals! Just like you do when you make lemon curd to keep a skin from forming!
Oh I just made it! Bought some super cheap strawberries at COLES SUPERMARKET. Knowing I am going to make your ice cream recipe. Will be ready for tomorrow night for dessert. I love your cooking. Monika from Melbourne 👍😊
This looks Reallly Good I can't wait to make it. I had to google 600ml of cream LOL. It says it's 2 1/2 cups. Update: 500 grams of strawberries is 17.86 oz. I'm going to use 16 oz of frozen strawberries but I will defrost them first.
I am so happy you use metric system! I am fed up with cups, pints, at al I don't understand. Lovely recipe. I did a gorgeous strawberry ice-cream but it's much more difficult, (strawberry finely chopped, vanilla egg custard, whipping cream) and requires an ice cream maker. I'll try your recipe as it is much simpler.
he is funny and knows how to make great ice cream my trick when ice cream is put into freezer container I cover plastic warp/cling and then put lid on keeps it fresh for at least 1 year!! if you don't eat it all up first!
Hello dear David, you are my favourite fan because you are funny, nice, most beautiful and always know how to make me laugh and happy with your most delicilious food and desserts.please make more .
Hello my friend. Hope your doing well. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Sorry I've not been around but things with me have been kinda hectic to say the least. The ice cream looks really good. I will try and make it if it ever gets above 60 F. I've been trying to move out of this leaky roof house. I'm so sick of being here. Take care my friend and I will try and be on more often. Miss you. ❤🎉🥂🎊🍾
Once again a brilliant, simple, yet scummy recipe. As commented before my lads and myself think your the best chef on here by a mile! As the one and only 'one pot chef' can you show us a fail safe apple Tarte Tatin recipe. Thanks from your UK fans.
I just love this guy. His recipes are so quick, simple yet ABSOLUTELY delicious.

Scummy is not the right word lol hahaha prababloly auto correct
Yeah I don’t think he meant to say scummy. Unless that is a UK compliment I don’t know about (I’m from the US) lol
I think John meant to say’ scrumptious’ so I agree, going to try this tomorrow 👍🏻👍🏻
