I agree, wish I we could see the older content he made back when he was still starting out under the name "Angry Orange Cat Productions" I managed to watch some of them back in the day, one of which was Vanilla Ice's movie. I know it used to be in posted a old site owned by some company until it got nerfed off and got lost completely. The oldest exploring video series he made posted here is about "TMNT". I'm not sure if it's preserve or not but most of Cecil's old stuff can be considered as lost media unless he still have it stored somewhere. I would love to watch those old content he made and binge watch how he got so good with the research, editing and of course, his trade mark humor and jokes haha. Seeing his old content would definitely make me nostalgic from my college days watching his exploring series while I finish my papers etc.
"...it still manages to harness a very real Christmas vibe." You must have had some interesting Christmas get togethers. In my family , more than 2 killings and Grandma would have us all in the living room for a serious sit down!
I love how Cecil celebrates these movies, in all their flaws, instead of ripping into them like can be so easy to do. I love it! Keep up the good work!
This was a real treat, it feels like one of those limited edition cuts of an out of print movie, but of a review. The best part of your channel is there are entire topics relating to the production that others would gloss over or outright ignore, Cecil never ignores anything. Merry Christmas to you Cecil, and to everyone in the comments!
I should’ve posted a comment on here when this first came out, but you did a great job breaking down the actual story that was supposed to play out here. I rented this movie a few years back and pointed out the various gaps in the story; Santa characters just get killed off for no apparent reason. We don’t know who they are and we don’t even care. Had the filmmakers stuck with the initial storyline, perhaps it would have succeeded as opposed to the jumbled mess that it turned out to be.
I hope we can see more of these older Good Bad Flick videos in the future. Your voice in your first video made me think I was about to watcha Twilight Zone episode. Great stuff as always!
Happy Christmas, Cecil! It’s been a rough year, but so has the last decade and GoodBadFlicks has been here to entertain me and cheer me up when I’ve been at my worst. Here’s to another ten years of fun
Good to see Cecil's original review on here as well (his narration in these early reviews is very mellow & straightforward; I like it as much as his current subversive, tongue in cheek style); I think it really encapsulates what Good Bad Flicks represents, and a real strong beginning. I've never seen this film, but I've never seen it around either; maybe I'll check it out some day. I mean, a film which revolves around someone killing those dressed as Santa Claus would result in a high body count, so in that way I think the concept is rather inspired.
Cecil thanks for resharing one of your original videos. I'm surprised how long many of the many of the movie reviewers have been going and stuck with it so cheers to you. And thank you for always giving us quality content.
I am glad you put up one of your early GBF movies. I watched the Q&A the other day where you talked about how you were often asked where the first ones were, and how they were on blip, so it's cool to see you bringing them over here. There is a bit of a difference in your style back then compared to now, but even the videos you put out years ago on youtube are very good. I love your sense of humour and descriptions of things (jokes like "matte painting hotel" etc) and the talk of things like boom mikes and crew being in the shot. Merry Christmas, thanks for all the great videos, and here's to the next decade of GBF!
Cecil, congratz to you and thank you for all the great content. I actually enjoy the first version of the video, and also admire and appreciate how much you have grown as creator. Kudos to you, my friend. Hope 2021 brings great stuff your way.
That was really cool to see the contrast and the evolution of your style over the span of a decade!! Good retrospective Cecil let's hope the next 10 years is just as good!!
I love seeing how far you have come Cecil. It inspires me to continue following my dreams and only deepens my respect for you and your channel. Most creators can't even watch their old videos, and you put yours up for all to see. Please don't ever stop doing what you love.
Very awesome to see your first episode here. It's interesting to see how much you've changed, while also how much you haven't deviated from the format over the years. Consistency like that is nice.
You've definitely improved your craft. But you still had the main shtick down pat back then. & that shtick is why I subbed a yr or 2 ago & why I continue to watch, which is presenting a "bad" movie to a (mostly) otherwise unbeknownst audience in the light it deserves, doing the proper research, & breaking it down, explaining, & showing it in a way that shows exactly how & why it is in fact a good bad flick. You sir are definitely one of the hidden gems on UA-cam, it's been a pleasure watching your subscriber count climb & you deserve any success that comes from it.
Whoa! That's cool to finally see what your first episode was Cecil the first I seen was for F13TH Part 7-The New Blood then the one you did for "The Blob" 1988. May you and your family have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Cecil.
I love this channel because even thought majority of the films featured on it are films I've never heard of, I still watch it cause Cecil makes it so goddamn interesting to watch and learn from. Great job!!
Watching this channel evolve in fast-forward over the last few months has been pretty cool, Thanks for sharing. -Going to watch my copy of Don't look in the basement as soon as I roll me a butt. -Thanks for reminding me I had all those movies I got from the dollar store. Skoal!
Cool seeing the old review again, you’ve got more confident in the reviews over the years but the early ones are still great too, lol I remember blip, rip blip 💐
I just watched this movie yesterday on Tubi & I think it’s bloody great. During Christmas time I watch all Classic Christmas horror movies I haven’t seen. Great informative video & Spot on review!
That’s kind of the heart of what you do isn’t it when you talk about even if you don’t like the movie you can appreciate all that went into the production, I never give them much credit that way but yes good point
Great exploring, as always. But the spanish BluRay is a Bootleg from the german/austrian release from "Edition Tonfilm", who made all the restauration.
Great to see the origins! Been enjoying the channel for several years now, and I've watched most of the older episodes over that time. This has become my favorite channel and I do support it on Patreon. Always enjoyable. Thanks for showing the original production! It was quality stuff, but you have definitely become an even more refined and awesome producer!
Man, have you come a long way since the first episode! I would of kept watching after the first episode if I had discovered it back when, but it is amazing to see how much your transformed. Here's to ten, twenty, thirty more years with Cecil!
1:32 I know what a few people are going to be looking for on eBay and Etsy! I would be interested in hearing your take on *Silent Night, Bloody Night* (or *Deathouse)*
THANKS FOR ANOTHER YEAR CECIL! You're one of the best on this platform! You've come a long way my friend! And you're getting better and cooler every passing minute! Can't wait to see what movie and games you have in store for us next year! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Cecil you are a Godsend. I watched all your videos for years and years and for some reason (well crazy life events and moves and health) I lost touch with them after COVID. I apologize! I was so happy to see you come up on my feed. This movie always makes me laugh (embarrassed to say). Wonderful job as usual! I had heard all kinds of stories about Purdom and I appreciate your take on everything. You always do your research and bring so many interesting tidbits. I appreciated you adding the old Blip video at the end. I think the mask looks like Nixon, but I think all masks do at this point (except all the ones that look like Shatner LOL).
I am backtracking to other reviews today. Sorry again for my absence! LOL When I watched this I really remembered not only how much I missed your reviews and "exploring" series but also your kind voice! Happy New Year!@@GoodBadFlicks
I still enjoyed your first video but there is no doubt you have honed your craft and are much better at it today. Thank you for sharing though. Happy Christmas to you and all the family Cecil and whatever you do, don't dress up as Santa :D
Nice vid! And congratulations on 10 years of Good Bad Flicks... Maybe you could do like a top 10 of films you've covered? That'd be awesome! Anyways, keep up the good work!
It was great that you went back and did a new version of your very first video, Cecil. I remember watching it on your website close to a decade ago when I first found you here on youtube and your channel was just your name lol been a huge influence on my movie tastes and collection ever since. I also started my own movie review channel on here because of you as well good sir! Keep up the great work and have a great Christmas with your family!
P.S. Blip needs to make a Come Back! I think everyone is getting sick of UA-cam, their Stupid Restrictions, Copyright Claims and especially their Stupid Ads the pop all the time during the middle of the video.
i hope cecil is keeping all of his videos in long term data storage somewhere. this channel is a library and should be preserved
I agree, wish I we could see the older content he made back when he was still starting out under the name "Angry Orange Cat Productions" I managed to watch some of them back in the day, one of which was Vanilla Ice's movie. 9:56 OH SNAP, I recognize that song! I heard Brandon Tenold playing that song every single time he mentioned Caroline Monroe.
Yea. Me too.
Merry X-Mas Cecil, have a good one buddy

Haters will always pointed out negative things.
@@boboboy8189 And the best critics always point out both.
I love the movie. Despite its MANY flaws, I watch it every year around the holidays. Hope you have a very merry Christmas, Cecil!
I appreciate all the hours of work you put into this but also the human lives this movie affected within it's production, distribution and beyond.
The difference between 2010 Cecil and 2020 Cecil is huge :D
I read this comment in 2020 Cecil's voice. xD
Randomly inserted Caroline Munro musical number cameos for the win!
More movies need a random Caroline Munro
I always think of Caroline Munro as being "busty", but she doesn't look that way in that dress. Hmmmm...a mystery.
Caroline Munro sigh
sweet Caroline

Nicely done Cecil. Glad I fine your channel at the beginning of last year. You put out amazing content
I hope we can see more of these older Good Bad Flick videos in the future. Your voice in your first video made me think I was about to watcha Twilight Zone episode. Great stuff as always!
I enjoy your content. I wish more people knew about this channel.
Let's not talk about the amount of movies I've bought because of you and a certain canadian youtuber. I really appreciate all your work.
A christmas slasher movie...the first good bad flick.
Hell of a good time to start considering where this channel is now...
Merry Christmas, Cecil.
Happy Christmas, Cecil! It’s been a rough year, but so has the last decade and GoodBadFlicks has been here to entertain me and cheer me up when I’ve been at my worst. Here’s to another ten years of fun
Please Cecil: we need ALL the GBF lost videos.
I agree!
Will be cool to see the old videos redone. Remember watching them on the website.
Those original intros

Heh heh - "Zee cars". Don't think I've ever heard Z-Cars said by an American before. Just made me chuckle.
Hey, I'm American, and I know it's "Zed"
