Can you please discuss how the new Far Cry won't have Arcade. The map making community doesn't need to be tricked into buying a game and I don't think many know
@@KhaosInductionCreator the point is Friendly npcs and the Enemies you face act differently when shot plus in far cry 5 you didn't have the leveled enemies like you do in far cry new dawn and far cry 6 that basically means bows were instant kill in far cry 5 and wasn't a one shot weapon in far cry 6 unlessyou count head shots, something this video fails to mention is the level enemies vs how far cry 5 had regular and heavy units plays a big part on gameplay.
The arrows in the tyre in far cry 6 is actually decently realistic as it's almost like the arrow plugs the hole for abit whereas bullets destroy it almost instantly.
@Thumper if you were to shoot a tyre with a bullet depending on where you shot it, it could either deflate or explode so while it probably isn't the most lifelike thing ever it's still pretty realistic
Far Cry 5 will remain my favourite game in terms of visuals, I always dreamt about traveling to the US so traveling through Montana, even in game is an awesome experience. From farm fields of Holland Valley, through Henbane river to mighty Whitetail Mountains that game is just incredibly beautiful.
I’m from Montana only nice part is Missoula and polson and Pablo 😂 the rest of it is boring Great Plains fields in which you can see your dog for about 10 miles ahead 😂
I love FC5. The music, the environment, the cult, it all just really works for me. I like running around in that world and cappin' Peggies in the middle of some vast mountainous wilderness.
It would be great if Ubisoft actually invested in creating better artificial intelligence. The graphics are amazing as well as the physics, but since Far Cry 3, everyone that has followed has felt like a tech demo with a story.
I can agree I have seen some stupid AI moments in far cry 6 like when I saw a medical truck driver run over an officer and special forces units for no reason whatsoever but there was also some amazing moments when I stood next to a tank and the AI knew he couldn’t hit me so he reversed and ran me over which isn’t that impressive but I also remember when I was in an underground bunker and the AI heavy gunner units deployed shields in the doorways and pushed me back into the vents in which I couldn’t do much.
Far Cry 2 had the best AI out of them all in my opinion. The enemies were able to perform so many actions based on specific situations, and having to fight them was truly frantic and intimidating. There needs to be another game that's built just like that one.
If you mean in terms of colour, it could be also the settings in the Far Cry 5 that makes it look like a lot brighter than it should be, but I still agree with you.
Far cry 5s atmosphere: boring, bland and absolutely pointless for a far cry game. Far cry 6s atmosphere: colorful, vibrant, tropical and exactly what a far cry game should look like.
This is one of the first comparison videos of details from previous games where it actually looks like some things were improved on. Still isn’t great but at least it’s better now

I _hate_ 5's flamethrower. The flame spreads way too rapidly, making it an ineffective weapon whereever there's grass. You're just as liable to burn yourself as your foes. The burn is more controlled with the 6's Tostador, especially when hitting fire-weak targets like the fumigators. They just pop.
Thank you for this, it’s the little details like this that make a difference for me. Far Cry 2 had great realism and physics. The tree destruction when you hit them with your car was a good path forward than just having them “explode” into nothingness. Edit: the car windshields difference is huge as well. Might have to give this one a try. Have not played a Far Cry game since 4.
far cry 6 is set on a tropical island, there's more moisture so it's harder for fire to propagate. Far cry 2 was set in africa, it's a dry climate area so fire propagates easier. It's reasonable

But it still would be nice to see more detailed fire propagation as that to this day it does not affect enough of the world to be considered an effective source of destruction, other than direct contact with the flamethrower. I get that games need a proper setting with indestructible landmarks to set the scene for the game, but the satisfaction of watching structures and shrubbery and foliage properly burn to the ground is very lackluster still, even though the technology is more than capable nowadays.
Overall I am intrigued by what I see in the noticeable improvements to the game, it is by no means a perfect masterpiece, no game ever really is, as there are still little nitpicks that I find something to be desired and makes this game less than a masterpiece. But I am satisfied that this is at least a step in the right direction and would gladly pick this up over 5, any day.

Graphics have definitely improved in far cry 6, I was skeptical at first before launch but now that I actually see the game from a gameplay standpoint up close the Graphics definitely improved alot.
I also think FC5 has a much more interesting story. The cult story is genuinely cool and kind of scary at times, and the setting is 👌👌👌. I dont see how anyone could say its even REMOTELY similar to any of the other entries in the series, especially 3 lol.

Normally these comparison videos show how little progress gets made, but I was actually pleasantly surprised with the evolution from 5 to 6. Some things stayed similar, but its better than getting worse IMO
3:10 Far Cry 5 was probably set during a record drought in Hope County, Montana. Only way to explain who the grass starts lighting up before the flaming ally's corpse even hits the ground.
The performance on PC seems much better on 6. I’ve not upgraded anything since playing 5 but am getting more FPS and a smoother experience despite it being a newer game... Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me but that’s what’s happening.
@C Otter That doesn't make any sense, the map is way bigger than FC5, more varied with unique biomes and filled with more "points of interests" to visit. The arsenal is twice the size of FC5 with the unique resolver weapons while FC5 weapons were almost all copy and paste. The physics are better as shown with the vid and they fixed the atrocious bullet velocity of 5. How is FC6 not better than 5 ?

I really, REALLY love the fact that you can slide a slope all the way down when you run and crouch rather than a momentary slide. That's pretty good, why that didnt happen in New Dawn and 5?
Essentially the same in "Physics and Details". This was basically 30fps vs 60fps upgrade for consoles so even if you swapped games and made 6 at 30 and 5 at 60 then Far Cry 5 would look better. If this was done on PC 120fps vs 120fps I think the only difference would be the setting and the new items and features in 6. I don't have a problem with a game recycling assets etc. That just means it will run as good as the previous. Plus I have played Yakuza games and I am used to seeing reused stuff all the time, doesn't bother me.
I think fire graphically looks better in FC5 but overall spread is better in 6. But in the end these 2 are almost identical with different settings. Ubisoft is lazy af for this.
Well, Far Cry 6 also has been only out for a day or two so Ubisoft will fix up the physics eventually. Far Cry 5 has been out for a while now so throughout the game there have been fixes.
I think the guns are super underpowered or the enemies are way to strong. What i likes with farcry 5 is the way you can kill enemies with every different kind of weapon with a headshot and 3 shots with a pistol did the job. The guns and enemies are way to unrealistic in farcry 6. Ruined the game
I always like my character to have voice...It's why I preferred Far Cry (1) over Half Life 2...Now I have to decide who I want to hear singing along to music in the car Danny or Danny...
Yeah it's got more RPG elements in it so enemies are gonna he tougher but that's why there's specific bullets like armor piercing, hollow rounds, poison rounds which make enemies go crazy and attack their friends, and classic incendiary rounds.
@@hubflower5433 farcry used to be my favorite franchise so i bought the hope county edition of 5 which was 180 bucks and it was ao disappointing and my least favorite out of them all , even on the new "infamous" difficulty and not getting any health upgrades and enemy tags and aim assist off and only using boomer there was not 1 single part from start to finish that was even remotely challenging with that god awful regenerating health
So the newest game has no splash or effect at all when you throw items into water, only when you shoot. Also, think it's time to call in the Mythbusters since tires don't explode like that when standing still. Next Gen FTW.
Evert game is toned down from e3 version unless their is atleast 1.5 to 2 year gap between e3 and launch.... The only games Ubisoft downgraded were watch dogs and r6 siege (which is now one of the best fps multiplayer games) It's just people of Ubisoft hate train who are still living in the cave of past
The lesson we got: FC6 is good, but It's released too fast for me and make it like Less realism of the worlds.but still Ubisoft keep the tradition of iconic antagonist.
For me Far cry 5 has the best setting. Especially the whittail mountains. And also the music and the atmosphere is unmatched by the other games of the franchise.

in 6, if you get close to the bullet holes you can see they are not in the enemy buy a kind of a patch (i dont know how to say it). In 5 it rarely happens
People are always surprised that no, FC6 is not just a reskin of FC5, and there has been a ton of work on this game since the previous one... It's the usual discussion with FC2, sometimes you have to be careful with ultra precise details that you don't waste resources in things like that, instead of on NPC budget, etc... The engine is not new, but I'm glat it could be improved for this game.

I like the flamethrower a lot better in FC5 as well as how people react to being set on fire but everything else goes to FC6

Far cry 6 improved for sure the ray tracing is decent but in the next far cry we wana feel it like real life, graphics animations animals npcs to the next level cmon.....

Normally these comparison videos show how little progress gets made, but I was actually pleasantly surprised with the evolution from 5 to 6. Some things stayed similar, but its better than getting worse IMO

The performance on PC seems much better on 6. I’ve not upgraded anything since playing 5 but am getting more FPS and a smoother experience despite it being a newer game... Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me but that’s what’s happening.
But in far cry 5 i was getting 80 fps wirh everything on ultra,in far cry 6 i cant even go high for frame drops,some times it drops to 45😢

@C Otter That doesn't make any sense, the map is way bigger than FC5, more varied with unique biomes and filled with more "points of interests" to visit. The arsenal is twice the size of FC5 with the unique resolver weapons while FC5 weapons were almost all copy and paste. The physics are better as shown with the vid and they fixed the atrocious bullet velocity of 5. How is FC6 not better than 5 ?

also, if you're running on the side of a hill and slide, you'll angle downwards to follow the hill down

6 is a beauty
Essentially the same in "Physics and Details". This was basically 30fps vs 60fps upgrade for consoles so even if you swapped games and made 6 at 30 and 5 at 60 then Far Cry 5 would look better. If this was done on PC 120fps vs 120fps I think the only difference would be the setting and the new items and features in 6. I don't have a problem with a game recycling assets etc. That just means it will run as good as the previous. Plus I have played Yakuza games and I am used to seeing reused stuff all the time, doesn't bother me.

Well, Far Cry 6 also has been only out for a day or two so Ubisoft will fix up the physics eventually. Far Cry 5 has been out for a while now so throughout the game there have been fixes.
I think the guns are super underpowered or the enemies are way to strong. What i likes with farcry 5 is the way you can kill enemies with every different kind of weapon with a headshot and 3 shots with a pistol did the job. The guns and enemies are way to unrealistic in farcry 6. Ruined the game

Yeah it's got more RPG elements in it so enemies are gonna he tougher but that's why there's specific bullets like armor piercing, hollow rounds, poison rounds which make enemies go crazy and attack their friends, and classic incendiary rounds.

@@hubflower5433 farcry used to be my favorite franchise so i bought the hope county edition of 5 which was 180 bucks and it was ao disappointing and my least favorite out of them all , even on the new "infamous" difficulty and not getting any health upgrades and enemy tags and aim assist off and only using boomer there was not 1 single part from start to finish that was even remotely challenging with that god awful regenerating health
So the newest game has no splash or effect at all when you throw items into water, only when you shoot. Also, think it's time to call in the Mythbusters since tires don't explode like that when standing still. Next Gen FTW.

in 6, if you get close to the bullet holes you can see they are not in the enemy buy a kind of a patch (i dont know how to say it). In 5 it rarely happens

People are always surprised that no, FC6 is not just a reskin of FC5, and there has been a ton of work on this game since the previous one...
It's the usual discussion with FC2, sometimes you have to be careful with ultra precise details that you don't waste resources in things like that, instead of on NPC budget, etc...
The engine is not new, but I'm glat it could be improved for this game.
