Haha about TAA, I’ve lost count of the number of young talents I’ve seen in youth football who had some outstanding technical attribute, some specialty, who never could make it to the elite level because of weaknesses in their game that made them liabilities, I.e. the cost of playing them outweighed the benefit, no matter how spectacular whatever their specialty was. TAA reminds me of that, a great ball striking specialist, who is a liability as a midfielder, somehow got smuggled into an elite team as a fake right back, and now the system isn’t protecting him he’s become a major liability.
@@Nobbins I'd be keen to hear of your analysis of whether Peps preference to play Grealish and Cancelo on the same flank is nullifying Jack's creativity? Cancelo, in my view, naturally plays the inverted role thereby using Jack as a mere distraction for opposition defence ie he pulls defenders outside and Cancelo is afforded the space to cut inside and attack. Cancelo rarely if at all overlaps and enables Jack opportunities to do likewise utilising his dribbling skills and use his favoured right foot. Gomez on the other hand does effectively overlap and cross dangerously from his left peg and Jack can do what he potentially does best. This is no slight on Cancelo, but if Pep mixes up his defensive left side, we'll see the best of Grealish. Footnote: I know Walker's injury hasn't helped. Cheers
Very indepth analysis of the crisis at liverpool. I want to add in the fact that other teams in the premier league is just better this season, the increased level of competition premier league happen every season, even small teams can spend because the revenue just for being in the Premier league is huge. Teams that did not improved their squads like Leicester and wolves and to some degree liverpool as well got left behind. I mean last season Liverpool and City were so far above every team, but this season you have Arsenal challenging city for the title and Tottenham not far away, United and Newcastles have looked massively better than last season and will challenge for top 4. Liverpool may actually end up outside of top 4 if they do not hard reinforce in January. Every premier league top clubs have spent heavily this summer with exception of Liverpool, which also did not spend a lot last window, You just can't expect to stay at the top spending less than everyone forever.
Physical fatigue is genuine because: 1) 5 games variance to Man City is A LOT in football terms especially since Klopp doesn't rotate as much as Pep. You grasp the concept better when you consider how many training sessions would be required for each game and also factor in the reduced recovery time for LFC players vs City players. 2) LFC played its last game May 28th vs Man City's May 22. That's 6 additional days of activity. 3.) The flaw in your Man City possible Quadruple season (where they played less games) to LFC's is that the summer break was shortened by 1 week this year to accommodate the winter World Cup so less recovery time. Notice the injuries are mainly muscular. 4.) Additionally, LFC had an incredibly intense and active pre-seaon compared to Man City even playing back to back games. 5.) Furthermore Klopp continues to limit his rotation of key players despite 5 subs allowed this season. Klopp/FSG both at fault I guess but I struggle to understand why you "don't buy the physical fatigue argument." But overall this is some good work. I appreciate your analysis and insight.
In Liverpool there’s no player that afraid to lose his position. No one the bench that match the quality of the lineup or even close to it! That’s why.😊
I feel as if people don’t quite always know what the issue is with a goal and thus blame Trent almost to fill in the gap. You can’t blame him for the Rashford goal when he’s whipped in a cross, it got cleared and then Henderson gave the ball away. There are barely 4 seconds between Martial retrieving the ball and Rashford baring down on goal 1v1, no RB is getting back in time
I can blame him because his starting position is wrong, and I can blame him because the space Rashford runs into is Trent’s responsibility, and I can blame him because after he gives the ball away he makes no effort to get back into a good shape
@@Nobbins his starting position isn’t wrong because LFC are on the attack? He whipped in a cross, therefore he has to be high up the pitch. Then it’s cleared, Henderson messes up the touch and Martial gets it and slips it in behind to Rashford. All within 15 seconds. I’m not even a Liverpool fan here
There’s a gap in knowledge with you between Trent crossing the ball and Rashford scoring, which causes you to go “oh it’s obviously Trent who’s at fault”. Henderson losing the ball is the big issue, you can maybe blame Trent for putting in a nonsense cross. You can’t cross the ball into the box one second and cover Rashford through on goal the next second
@@Unison23 There's far more time between him losing the ball than you're accounting for; he loses it after the cross and just stands there when he should be getting back
@@Unison23 I implore you to watch the game back, you're acting like there's no time between Trent losing it and then Henderson losing it; there was ample time to get back into a good position, go watch literally any competent analysis on the goal

The Zaha one wasn’t his mistake, he slowed down otherwise Zaha would have sent him back to Celtic like Hwang did for Salzburg in 19/20 at anfield and Zaha would have had the whole goal to aim at, VVD gave the harder option for Zaha as in this scenario VVD needs to hope Alisson saves this, Zaha put a perfect shot in the corner which Alisson couldn’t save. None of that was VVD’s fault
First time im seeing your channel. And loving the content Your analysis was on point. Mane also played a role in the press. Although not too attacking, but his contribution overall was underrated. Its not a coincidence we see a drastic drop-off in performance. Also, we no longer see most of those Trent diagonal passes to Mane's side. I suspect Klopp said something to the players. Look at Sslah, why is he playing as a Playmaker? Makes no sense
Mate I could not agree more, its like you were among us last night watching the match and discussing the same points. I would only add that this is an owner/stakeholders issue, whether they are bottlenecking Klopp or vice versa, something has got to give. If it's the former then they won't change tactics unless they lose everything (translates into money as it is a business after all) and fans chew them alive, or an exodus takes place and they are forced to build the club from the ground up again. Lets hope for the best, looking forward to your next production, cheers.

Aren’t top level teams so supposed to avoid burnout by dropping the intensity once they’ve got a game safely won, which theoretically should be quite often.
Collapsed, because of 3 reasons, 1) 19 inquiries this season so far 2) We needed two top-class midfielders, 3) Elliot is never a first-team LIVERPOOL player yet, and he kept playing him 4) Fabinoh is not the same player, 4) We need top class a right back like Kyle Walke's when he was at his peak. 6) No longer do teams fear Liverpool, we need good to win at least 8 matches wins on the trot
You say FFP since you are a Man City fan but that’s not a thing, Liverpool have a very low net spend, injury prone players are cheaper, FSG should have known that Klopp likes to play heavy metal football so FSG should have spent, Klopp can only take trash teams so far, Klopp has overperformed with every team so this is where Liverpool’s level is
