as a rein main junk queen brawl kit feels so natural - it's bliss
theres a quick simple change they could make to JQ to make her good without busting her wide open: players affected by the wound affect take (some %) reduced healing. Makes her able to finish kills better, makes her exert more frontline pressure without making her impossible to 1v1, doesnt cross any dmg thresholds, doesnt push her into someone else's niche, etc.

That’s why it sucks that she’s so underpowered tbh. If she was a bit better, I’d actually want to play tank more (I mostly main support and like playing Monke but I just don’t like playing tank because my hero pool in that role is limited to Winston and Sigma lol)

I just wished junker queen's bleed buff was a buff that wasn't dependent on the enemy still bleeding. Like you recover X/hp for 5 secs when you inflict bleed. So you can just kill your target and get the benefits.
Queen should receive all heals she was due when an enemy dies. It is so counter-intuitive that you need to let enemies live to get decent value from the bleed.
@@ramped_shadowz6310 I feel like this is a mechanic in another game and i cant remember it for the life of me. Its safe to say that it was a welcomed change, no one should be punished for killing someone - which now that i think about it, its ironic considering Rams ult.
@@scotttimbrell8632 not really, rams ult puts extra pressure along sith your nemesis form, its not really a win condition ult, its how good you are in nemesis form plus positioning that allows you to be more terrifying. on that note queen when she has bleed effect on someone and they die, she loses all benefits, ramattra may lose the benefits of nemesis form but he has shield and snare to fall back to in order to cycle it for more hp and block. queen has nothing to fall back to other than shout but she cant cycle it due to long cooldown minus the fact that its just helath and no armor
@@ramped_shadowz6310 that would be a lot better but illogical tbh. I think her bleed should just be faster. So same amount of damage/heals but its faster. So you heal faster but still the same amount.
The heal imo is still way to weak, remove the buff and make it heal.impact damage aswell ;)
Even in Qp when the other tank is getting diffed they go pig, nice to see a different ending to the story

Dude, I was playing as Ram against JQ, and immediately after I killed them they switched to Hog. I'm so done seeing him in every game I play.
@@realhollowapathy Ive literally seen hog in the majority of my games even before overwatch 2, hog is a dps' wetdream. Hes a 1 shot monster with 600hp and a heal? His 1 ability does more potential damage than any dps' kit. Why they havent reworked him is beyond me. Imo his hook should be a connection after you hit it, locking down the target allowing your team to follow up with kills, not a pull that allows you to 1 shot someone, its incredibly unfun and has been for the better part of a decade now.

Junker queen is the most fun to roll as. Pulling people back and shooting them as they run away in fear is so funny
She is literally the more balanced version of hog, a skillshot pull that doesnt allow a 1 shot, a shotgun that doesnt 1 shot and hp that is temporary instead of an instant 300 hp heal.
I love the fear you can see when you shout and start running toward a squishy! you can see them get all panicked lol

Junker Queen is such a joy to play as, definitely a nice pub-stomping kit, I just hope she was ranked higher on the metagame
Supposedly she’s getting some “spicy” changes in the mid season patch. Assuming heavy buffs but could mean a slight rework somehow. Don’t know how that would work but would certainly be “spicy”.

I had a game exactly like that first one today and the junkerqueen mirror is literally the most fun I have had in overwatch in years. I'm still learning the best times to use her shout but once I get that down I might just try to main her

My aim sucks but I'm good at reading opponents and tracking cooldowns and the sheer number of times I've landed Nades on people with no way to save themselves only for my team to ignore them is one of the few reasons I feel depressed in OW lmao

Junker Queen is just a blast, honestly the funnest tank there is. I can't wait for the mid-season patch, I hope that her buffs are actually meaningful this time. Love her.
The fact that Hog can fully pull any enemy including tanks but Queen can barely boop tanks into the air feels like bullshit. Either both should be affected by the tank passive or none.
She is hog but balanced, except hog still exists so she's actually just a worse hog

Everyone in your team is just putting too much focus in farming kills instead of playing as a team, resulting in wasting your suzu because everyone's 5km away from each other.

I've always wondered if Junker Queen was based of the main character from He Who Fights With Monsters, Jason Asano. He Australian too and has abilities that cause bleed and drain enemies for health. His main weapon is also a knife.

I think if Queen had a second weapon like Mercy or Torb that was a Desert Eagle type heavy hitting hand cannon it’d complete her kit and make her very relevant and good. Just my opinion.

It literally does the same damage over time anyway, I can't think of a reason unless you wanna pull them off a pit or save it to mitigate their escape ability

14:40 had a match where time and the enemy tank started as rein and from his first death on they counter swapped whatever I picked and it was the dumbest shit
After watching this gameplay, it is clear we need to buff Sojourn. We will also be nerfing Genji.
Every time I play JQ in ranked they just swap to Hog. Wish I had fun enemies like yours.

Git good and coordinate to focus him down better, I'd rather have a tank that has to slowly walk up to you uncontested to kill you than sojourn who one taps you from 50 meters away and even if you manage to walk over there she jumps away for free

Junker Queen is so fun but she feels so underpowered compared to all the tanks maybe besides ball. I think she just needs to have more survivability. Decrease her shout cd to 12 and increase her health to 500. Cuz 425 hp as a tank is just laughable. Considering her only survival ability is on a 14 sec cd. Imo but just doing those too things it’ll will go along way
Even that wouldn't be such a terrible thing if her damage wasn't laughable even though she's supposed to be designed around playing aggressively 😭

But yeah I think she just needs to get a slight increase in her found damages knife from 15-25 and carnage 40-50 and lower the time it takes to do that damage. I feel like that would be pretty good cuz she’ll do more burst, heal more, and heal faster. Obviously with the other buffs I mentioned

Playing junker queen in lower elos like Plat and diamond is hell only because some of your teammates instantly guess she's trash and then they flame you the whole match.

Even a moira can beat hog, it just takes a bit long and roadhog has a slight advantage in the matchup.

@@justindemont6062 Queen can save others from the hook one-shot with a well-timed shout, but the shout takes so long to build it is not an ideal use.

I feel like junk queen is tittering on the edge of being meta or not being meta. I could be wrong though, I am still very new to Overwatch.

Imagine if every and I mean EVERY hit gives the bleed effect.
I actually think Roadhogs shrapnel gun should have the bleed effect. Obviously after his horrendous kit is nerfed and reworked of course, but i think he needs utility and his gun should give him that extra bit of damage he needs after his 1 shot is completely taken out. (My opinion is that his hook should connect to someone to lock them down, making him a lockdown tank and not a dps tank, once connected they can run around but cant use movement tools, breaking after a set time or when a wall/enemy gets in between the chain.)
Imagine building up a big ass ult only to be fully countered by a mere cool-down ability by a support player. Sense much makes!
they need to fix the gimmicks with kiriko and baptiste, the invuln ability being able to shutdown ults entirely while having ults like lucios, it makes absolutley zero sense and just shows the devs are lazy and cant thimk of anything better, if anything lucios uly makes sense for an invuln, kiriko can cleanse, but it shouldnt be both cleanse AND invuln. (lucio main btw)
Or you could bait out the mere cooldown ability or wait until it's been used instead of inting as soon as you get ult. Game sense 101
@@reapfield8687 yeah but the problem with this current meta is by the time you bait the Suzu Hog or Sojourn can easily pick off most your team hope the balance patch knocks them down so we get back to more fun and intuitive metas
@@reapfield8687 or you can save your ability because you feel like the enemy queen got her ult and you wait until they ult. Counter 102 and common sense 103.
The argument goes either way and you wouldn’t see someone complaining about sigma’s ult getting cancelled by stun abilities cuz landing stun on sigma requires at least some skill compared to using Kiriko ability on queen ult, which was my point.

@@xthescootermanxuhh by finding bronze players that are new or don’t have much time played? It’s not that hard to do considering jay3 has done 5 bronzes versus a buffed top 500 character a few times. Literally not hard to find bronze players and put them in a custom lobby against bots
