ANC has been keeping the country lawless since the late 90s because they have friends in organized crime. JZ was photographed attending the funeral of a gang boss in 2014. As more people leave and take their wealth with them its getting harder for the crime syndicates to get good loot, so their friends in the ANC need to make private property more accessible. In a country with such a high crime rate, making moves like this just means you support criminals, theres no other way to look at it.
that is the only answer - take the law into our own hands. SA's have had enough of this evil ANC and EFF and the police work for the government and are useless as well. To hell with the NWO and WEF may they all burn in hell for eternity along with all their puppets. They think that everyone has an IQ of 70 and below.
After recently having had a home invasion by four men in the middle of the day, I would certainly not want any law to be passed that makes it easier for these criminals to get away. The memory of this horrific experience lives with me daily, it never leaves. My security company did not respond to the panic button alarm. No polite request, on my part, to ask them to leave my home, would have stopped them. The new bill needs some serious thought!

The bill as gazetted needs to be changed to cover the loop holes. One cannot rely on the police. Often when a call is made to local police stations, the call is not answered or the do not arrive. Private security must be allowed to arrest trespassers. And as for telling trespassers to leave your property at 03h00 hours is totally ridiculous. I object to the bill as it was gazetted.
The law is bad, period. This is a systematic attack on property owners. There is no way a law like this can be acceptable in any written form, ever! The devil is in the details
The bill compromises the most vulnerable of property owners - those who can’t afford 20-foot high walls, electrified fences, beams and impregnable burglar bars. Someone who has climbed over your gate and is at your front door with a crowbar is not collecting for the Red Cross. He needs to be apprehended immediately, arrested and charged. This bill gives the already ineffective police the excuse to stand idly by while property is invaded, because the officer designated to perform an arrest is not present. The drafters of this proposed legislation know this. The compromising of private property rights is intentional, political and downright stupid.
We refuse to allow this bill to be passed if does not allow the security companies that guard our property the authority' to arrest trespassers or the owner of the property. . Also we do not agree that we have to first give anyone a warning first that they are tresspassijg before arresting them. Private security conpanies must have permission to arrest for unlawful entry.

It definitely poses a threat its ridiculous. It's eroding the homeowners right to defend their property ( either themselves or via a security compay). In these situations time is of the essence, trying to rely on the police who are not reliable & also going the red tape can endanger the home owners life. The politicians who promote these laws have their own security teams provided by the state, so the laws will not affect them
As Leon Louw ably pointed out a year or so ago: the ANC no longer has the skills required to frame proper legislation at source. So virtually all their proposed bills need expert and public comment to avoid pitfalls and endless time wasting after the event. We can be grateful DEAR SOUTH AFRICA is there to guide us all. And the you guys on social media alert the public. 🌈
I have decided to accept the act in total... I am a progressive S.A. Citizen and believe that if the intruders want to come into my yard, after they ignore the photo sign of my two Rottweilers, Stating, 'Go ahead we are friendly,' and the other one with a boa constrictor, stating, 'Please come in, I need a hug,' then we can have tea and cookies until the SAPS arrives a day or two later or if ever. I have an absolute love for stupidity, since it fuels my sense of humour. This act is a joke, since I do not believe that any intruder knows the words to Cumba-ya and it will make my days and nights, waiting on the SAPS seem so much longer, if only my wife and I sing merely as my dogs guard them or as I have to wash the floors and pick up the intruder pieces, strewn in my yard. That is the reality that we face, if this act is passed!
So what if I'm on holiday and the trespasser 'does not see' any signs about private property? Or my holiday home is empty for long periods? Who will warn them? To say that only the SAP can arrest these trespassers is absurd! The security companies are currently the only hope for safety because most of the SAP is already incompetent / unwilling / unable to assist in emergencies RIGHT NOW!
Yes, absolutely. If only an appointed person in the police has the power to arrest an intruder, it also takes away the legal power of the police or any citizen force/security company to enforce any safeguarding measures to the citizens of the country. This is totally against the Constitution of SA and in fact nullifies the constitution as well as the democracy in the country. This bill will in fact lead to civil unrest and nobody, not even the police, security companies, defence force et cetera will be able to act against any unlawful entry unless stopped by the appointed and empowered member of police. It will also curb the lawful empowerment of any court/legal officer to rule against such a mis demeanor.

This is ludicrous. We buy and work all our lives to have ourselves properties and do all we can to protect it. Unlawful action entry is DEFINITELY NOT ACCEPTABLE
In Zimbabwe the trespassing law was changed to give land grabbers the opportunity to just illegally take over land without repercussions from the law. Police were also unable to react to a trespassing complaint as it was classed as political. You are fighting a losing battle as land invasions are a way for marginally educated government officials to cover their corrupt dealings.
The "law" comes only second to family safety. If there is a clear and direct threat to the safety and wellbeing of my family That threat will first be dealt with accordingly and without hesitation The consequences will be dealt with thereafter No words on a piece of paper will stop that.....
I think this government is making it very difficult to live in this country. I feel we as citizens are not protected by our government. What a cruel government.
The new bill threatens the Santicity of protecting our right to privacy, and it is rediculous that only Saps can remove trespasses under the present situation of police lack of service and resorces.
No no trespassers even when they do it without knowing it..we all are born with brains and definitly know whats wrong and right..so No for proposed Bill
General legislation pertaining to self defense still holds. Important to comment on this act. But keep it constructive and not insulting. I have a feeling constructive suggestions of necessary tweaks will get a better response than personal attacks.
I'm sorry but we cannot compromise or be nice about this. This law is an attack on property owners flat out. Do you want to know how bad it can get? There are cities in the US that have this kind of law and property owners go to jail for years and lose everything for trying to protect their property. Have you tried calling SAPS? Trust me you do not want this law to pass...
@@sashadlamini6387 I'm sorry but I didn't say anything about rolling over. People tend to ignore insults. Many people comment on proposed legislation by just swearing and insulting. Those comments don't even get considered. What I am saying is Be constructive and smart. To the fact, on point. It's not about being 'nice'.
The intuder must prove that it is his ancestral land if he wants to trespass . A Zulu cant trespass on land of an iXhosa land because he says it it his ancestral land. This law can be scrapped but a much more stricter one must be written and applied.
Definitely do not agree police services don't operate asap to your request, criminals already getting away with all the crime already committed in South Africa, definitely not safe for all fellow citizens
Seems like parliament wants to condone this kind of unwanted, threatening behaviour... being a victim of an intrusion previously, I strongly stand against this kind of ludicrous thinking
Trespassers (Criminals) are there to steal, destroy and kill. Trespasser/s means person is unauthorized/no permission in/on your property/premises. An intruder/s is not there to drink coffee and eat cake with you. They have no respect for any legitimate human right to peace & happiness. The person/persons/party who wants to make the new law legal wants the criminal to have more rights than the citizen who is at peaceful and happy at his home or work. The criminals already have more rights the law abiding citizen and are morw protected by the law as the SA law abiding citizen. You want to let the wolves loose among the sheep so that they can destroy and kill as they please. This is what this so called new law is. A person who steals, destroys or kills another person's property has lost his rights when he only thinks of himself selfishly. Then he is a criminal and has no more rights. The criminal does not think of the SA Law abiding citizen's rights when the criminal is busy stealing, destroying and killing them. With the country's crime out of control and also one of the countries in the world with the highest crime such as robbery, armed robbery, rape & murder, you want to give the criminal even more rights. The SAPS has only disappointed, failed and not helped the SA citizen. There is so much crime in SA that the majority of SAP are not doing their job and are also part of crime and problem. A handful of SAP members want to make a difference and do their job. The SA citizen who is the victim must protect his own property/s and life/s. etc because the government does not want to and cannot. One can see it through all their actions. They all have bodyguards and is not living in a real world od SA. Why do they have bodyguards if it is save in SA? The Criminal is not afraid of laws, police or court. Then they just have to get scared of there victims.
Think the trespassing laws are too lax If there is a gate it and fence it's pretty obvious that the property belongs to someone so the criminal can be on that property for 3 or 4 hours before the police arrive to lock the suspect up

but first play 'Gimme 3 steps, Mister' by Lynyrd Skynyrd. That could be seen as the necessary verbal warning 😬
It's absolutely ridiculous. It gives criminals easy access to your property
This is absolutely absurd and stupid as by the time you inform that intruder that he or she is intruding you and your family might be hurt or killed . I do not agree with this new legislation . It is unheard of any where else in the world . We should not have this bill passed .
How can you expect things to go better if the biggest thugs sit in parliament?????
Cheers from the U.S. My sympathies please keep faith stay safe.
This is ludicrous. We buy and work all our lives to have ourselves properties and do all we can to protect it. Unlawful action entry is DEFINITELY NOT ACCEPTABLE
CAPEXIT is all I can say.
The Cape province is the second dangerous province at the moment ...
Trespasser will enter at his own peril. Actually. I have a right too.
My question, my pitbull doesn't know the bill. He is not first going to bark to give the intruder a chance to leave before attacking
The SAPS line has been cut off, and the only use of cell phones of SAPS members in charge are used.
pointless calling them . If you want more complications and possible implications , then call the cops .
Buurtwagte moet nou groei ,blok by ingange, keer criminals, voordat kan ingaan, bel dan polisie, hou register van wie waar bly, moenie na donker kuier nie
This is scary. A criminal will get more justice. While you ask him to leave your property you can be killed?????. People read this new bill asap...
Gangsters paradise
The "law" comes only second to family safety.
If there is a clear and direct threat to the safety and wellbeing of my family
That threat will first be dealt with accordingly and without hesitation
The consequences will be dealt with thereafter
No words on a piece of paper will stop that.....
I think this government is making it very difficult to live in this country. I feel we as citizens are not protected by our government. What a cruel government.
The new bill threatens the Santicity of protecting our right to privacy, and it is rediculous that only Saps can remove trespasses under the present situation of police lack of service and resorces.
Please simplify this proposed law in order not to worsen the crime situation in South Africa but to make South Africa a safer place to live in.
Perhaps, pitbulls, snake breeding should become a hobby of lawabiding property owners?
This is utter rubish!!!!
Please share the link to the DSA for comments
We do not need a minister of education, we need education for ministers. An excuse for theft and lawlessness. Ben Nell.
This is another addition to the constitution
So we can now enter AnC elites million rand homes, farms etc...go visit cyrils gardens....and his farmlands..yay
@@carinwiese8019 okay that makes sense and I agree. Thanks for clarifying
Where should we vote it out
I don't agree and will never agree to government protecting criminals and gunning the owners.
The intuder must prove that it is his ancestral land if he wants to trespass . A Zulu cant trespass on land of an iXhosa land because he says it it his ancestral land. This law can be scrapped but a much more stricter one must be written and applied.
You call SAPS but you put on hold🤔the current bill is just fine no need to adjust it.
The bill as gazetted needs to be changed to cover the loop holes. I object to the bill as it was gazetted.
Criminals should not be allowed on private propertyat any time.Without the concent of the owner.
There are other ways we can get around this if they don't fix it...
That's why they say. You will own nothing and be happy
This is what happens when criminals are allowed to draft laws and policy......
Definitely do not agree police services don't operate asap to your request, criminals already getting away with all the crime already committed in South Africa, definitely not safe for all fellow citizens
This is where the victim becomes the accused.
So what's the next bill gonna be like ,, maybe something like this,, ( prisoners to be kept on private owned properties,,)
Seems like parliament wants to condone this kind of unwanted, threatening behaviour... being a victim of an intrusion previously, I strongly stand against this kind of ludicrous thinking
They must stop this act. Legislation
Very dangerous an obvious attempt to expropriate private property
Think the trespassing laws are too lax If there is a gate it and fence it's pretty obvious that the property belongs to someone so the criminal can be on that property for 3 or 4 hours before the police arrive to lock the suspect up
Saps does not have enough employees to remove someone from your property.
I have posted to several people but I fear they will ignore it as a hoax..
