Three years ago, Lindsay and her family left the hustle of New York City for a fresh start in Texas, falling head over heels for a captivating, gargantuan house that they now call home. As you step through the front door, you're greeted by a grand foyer and a majestic curved staircase, framed by leaded windows - setting the stage for a home that feels straight out of a storybook.
The high ceilings and large scale of the rooms provided a perfect canvas for Lindsay’s unique mix of thrift store gems, Facebook Marketplace finds, and high-end furniture.

My husband picks up things from the side of the road and I shake my head when I walk into the garage and see something new- but that’s how we have gotten some of our most beloved pieces

She is such a breath of fresh air, not taking home design so seriously. I love how she has fun with her interiors and isn’t worried about making everything polished and perfect. This home represents the life and love that goes on inside of it as its heartbeat. ❤
Interior designers hate ceiling fans but those of us who live in the south don’t care what they think.
I’m so torn 😅😭 I’m near Nashville and it is h u m I d! I don’t want the fans…would rather have a pretty light fixture (only) but sheesh!

I was very dissapointed you cut this episode short and left out the kitchen, bathrooms and the rest of the bedrooms. After all, you did show glimpses of it along the way. It was very nice to see such an effervescent woman show us her home! Her bubbly mood is contagious! Shes someone Id love to be friends with!
I love the high contrast used in this home. The New York and coastal influences in a Texas home is very pleasing. I’m not usually a fan of large homes but this one is very lovely.
She has such a good spirit. It's so refreshing to see someone who is excited to live in their home, like they can't believe their luck to be surrounded by beauty. I guess I identify. A lot of these videos just seem like incredibly fortunate people who are like, "look at my $20,000 sofa."
She’s so bubbly and refreshing. She reminds me of the Georgia homeowner whose home is also eclectic. She too has a bubbly and refreshing disposition.

Green my favorite color, and the real plants made me love this house. One day I would love to live in a home with a library. She did a nice job designing her home.
I could bottle your laughter and be as happy with it as the best perfume! I only have one table strong enough for a tree in my 20 foot high cathedral ceiling! I have my husband’s tabletop Christmas tree decorated for the 4th of July and all the patriotic holidays. Thanks for the joy and details!

I actually have Tricorn Black in my house and business. The thing about Tricorn black is it has Magenta undertones. I’m not sure if that was Tricorn or not. All about lighting.

This woman needs to give tours of other people's homes in addition to her own. She is a breath of fresh air with a whimsical spirit and with a very authentic feel and self deprecating disposition. So many of these tours feel so "plasitcy". Her style from her unique esthetic to her connection to the viewer is just so refreshing. Home highlights for me: the feature wall in the dining room and the foyer. Uh, can we talk about that staircase? Oh that staircase! JUST EXQUISITE! Some of these comments… if you don’t like her house or you’re irritated by her joy, then just exit the video. I think her home is filled with love and fun, and her personality reflects that. I want to be friends with her!
When will we stop commenting on the things that make people who they are?
She is lovely and enjoys her home and possessions which is great, but really has an annoying laugh, hahahaha, after everything she says to something that isn't actually funny.
Some people are not good infront of cameras and get OTT.
Some people are very nasal.
Some are boring and monotone.
Some talk and then at end the end of every sentence 'sing' in a high note.
Some people talk too much.
Personally, I don't want to know where each and everything is bought from. A few items is fine.
People get too wrapped up in overtalking about their items, where they bought a painting, and go on for hours explaing each piece of art.
What I want to see is the house and each room.
I want the camera to pan across the room slowly so that we can really look at the overall feeling of the room, the layout, and design.
And I like the camera to zoom in to look at the details.
The owner can give a quick overview and talk about a few special items, but not every single item.
I prefer it when people don't try to be funny, but just talk normally.
I don't say that I would be good infront of a camera and maybe you wouldn't.
We don't know how we would come across.
Remember this is a big audience and not everyone sees things the same way. And that is ok. Being outright nasty is not nice.
Some of these commenters need therapy. Seeing someone so happy is clearly triggering them, which is sad. And the entitlement is weird - demanding custom free content, made exactly how they want it, instead of just watching something else? Really? It’s odd.

Clearly you don’t understand the “comments” section. It is for personal opinion - good or bad. Perhaps, don’t read them.
What a fabulous, beautifully curated home... the attention to the highs and the lows and the very well orchestrated vignettes are perfection!!! The spectrum of colorways and furnishings are spot on in every room, bringing each of the large spaces a warm, comfortable, and coziness esthetic that not everyone could pull off!!!

Don’t overlook the thrift store and Facebook market place, rich people love them too.
The bird pillow came from Walmart. This is a wonderful example of mixing high and low end pieces to create a unique budget friendly home. Nothing thrills me more than finding an antique or vintage piece at a bargain.
The armoire in the living room is a show stopper. So many interesting pieces in this home. I love the 1980s grandma pieces mixed with modern square tables and soft furnishings. The host is so charming. She definitely has an eye for finding interesting art and furnishings that all seem to work beautifully together. Wonderful episode
