Disco legend, Erik Nkovani - popularly known as Papa Penny, resigned as an ANC member and councillor in the Greater Giyani Municipality last week. The ANC in the region, however, believes Nkovani's departure will have no impact on their performance in the elections.

Penny wanted to be a mayor and to achieve that, it means he needed to be the regional chairperson of Capricon or at least be a sub-region chairperson to be local municipality mayor if not Polokwane city mayor and he failed dismally to get votes in the ANC🤞💯
Now he thinks he can get a position in Limpopo legislation with MK which is much bigger than local majorship and he would never reach that level with ANC💯🤞
