Thanks for pointing out the obvious, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! I admit it; I freaked out when I received my new Comfort Plus mat and, in excitement, removed it from the packaging, immediately tossed the instructions to the side, rolled out the mat, opened the valve and watched the mat do absolutely nothing....at all. 20 minutes later I felt like I was watching paint dry...then 1 hr...then 1.5 hrs...So I watched some youtube videos of other's whose mats inflated in a few minutes!! And I concluded that something was wrong, "Its Defective! That's what it is! I'll have to return this!" Fortunately I saw your video which pointed me back to a piece of paper that came with my new mat called, "INSTRUCTIONS."... It's amazing what we can accomplish when we follow directions.

After halving and retooling the mat, do not turn the valve back over, leave it in the exhaust mode, then when the bag is in the compression sack it will continue to expel air. when stored it will not pull in air and moisture into the pad.

I got mine from the REI store which was discounted for $111.00, then I had some credit of $41 as a member so I used that credit on the purchase price which brought it down to $70 total!

In the eye of an average American, it's always me me me...The entire global population is dispensable. They can use you for personal gain, when new problems arise, you suddenly become the problem.
