Someone should tell this gentleman that before they drop news that effects literally thousands of people maybe they should talk to the folks in Manitoba and give them a heads up. They just dangled a carrot to a town of a few thousand people out of nowhere and then basically took back what they said. It’s completely disrespectful and proves that they’ve had alternative plans for year than what they have led the local workforce to believe. Very shady behaviour. Not to mention some accusations of questionable trading by some Hudbay directors. All around this company is showing just the type of scruples they have. Bottom line they just can’t be trusted.
