As always Gail great card designs. Thanks for sharing your creativity and knowledge of stamping. Can’t wait to see what is next. Have a great week ahead. Stay safe, God bless, love you too.
Gorgeous! I suppose I overlooked this stamp set. We live near the sea in The Netherlands and, especially on warm evenings in late summer we love going to the beach to see the sun set. When I lived in the US, I spent a couple of days in Holland, MI and saw the sun setting over the lake - hazardous as we were attacked by humongous swarms of mosquitoes. Nevertheless, I've got sun set pictures in the very first scrapbook I ever made - 39 years ago! Thank you Gail, for bringing back great memories with your beautiful cards!
@@StampwithGailsu Yesterday I spent hours looking for my 1st scrapbook and eventually found it. It was great to look and read through it. I was in the US with a Mennonite exchange program and worked at a day care center sponsored by the local Mennonite churches. It was so good to go through that scrapbook! And all because of your tutorial! Thank you SO much!
Beautiful cards! Another stamp set to put on my wish list. I like how you used the marker to help with the black sponging and I know you used glycerin before lots of times but I could never see exactly how much you were using to blend with, this time I did see! I've had my glycerin for quite sometime and have used for other things in my craft stash but not for blending. Thank you Gail for another superb video!
The glycerin helps the ink glide over the cardstock with less smudges and less work. It all depends on the look I want as to which way I do my backgrounds. I like to do a little of everything. I can get a much lighter and quicker background using the brushes.
What a great job you did, Gail! I must admit, when you started using that black marker, well lets just say I was dubious. But you made it work and taught me something that I would never have thought to do on my own. Its good not to be so precious with everything. What's the worst that could happen? YOu don't like it. It was only a piece of paper so be bold.
@@StampwithGailsu Yep, I've had to "file thirteen" a few of my more unfortunate outcomes. Good thing about that is, nobody saw it nobody took a picture, didn't happen...right? #JustPaper
I am so grateful that you did this video and glad I didn't miss it. I wasn't sure about it when I saw it in the catalog. Now I'm excited to get it. Your cards are amazing!!
Great Card's Gail! I always lean towards the Stamp Sets that I can make My own backgrounds and designs, all with Thanks to you!! I do truly enjoy doing this over using DSP. However, I did see a really great Video using the Whale of a Time Set with the DSP. But, that DSP has great scenes in it to use. I appreciate your putting the Card down for a minute after your done so I can take a screenshot of each One and then the Group together also. Love your creativity Gail! Stay safe and I love you too! 👍💖🌅 What time do you do your live videos on Facebook? Also, love your Camera and the ability to go close so We can see the details. TY!
I always used to think that too but I'm very honest with my customers about products. I do not like Stazon because of how sticky it is and only use it for certain projects. SU has always had trouble with their black inks which is why they don't have a black of their own anymore. After 23 years, I have several different SU black pads and refills and don't know which is which anymore. Gina K can be used for both water coloring and Alcohol ink so if I pre-stamp things I don't have to worry which technique I use.
Gail, I use my pick to separate the tear&tape. It works so easily. Just a tip.
Thanks so much, I don't know why I don't .. LOL ... Just another thing to laugh at myself about.

Thank you so much Ineke! I'm glad I could bring back some great memories for you. Well .. not the mosquitoes, but the beautiful sunset.

Thank you June! A little bit goes a long way.
Missed your live. Those cards are awesome! So glad I bought this stamp set.
Thank you! So far I find it limited to a similar design but so worth it.
Love these cards!
thank you!
What does the glycerin do? Some times you use it and sometimes you don't. How do you decide if you want to add it or not.

The cards are lovely!
Thank you!
Nice work Gail. The cards are pretty

Omg I love those cards. Miss you Gailey 😘. Freaking amazing.
Miss you too Iris! Thank you!
What kind of sponge are you using to clean your stamps with?
Wow! Nice. What's with the glycerin?
Thank you! Glycerin helps the ink glide over the cardstock with a smother look.
Great stamp set - is it available or retired ?
It's available in the new catalog.
New
Put a little bird where that spot is
The cards are so pretty. Where did you get the tape holder?
@JodiElaine The Tape Holder is from "Crafters Solutions". They're a small business but do great things for Crafters!
Happy Crafting!!

thank you and yes, it's just paper. I tried a few other ideas that didn't work and those hit the can, just paper!

Lovely cards. I needed to see these. What type of glycerine do you use and where do you get it?
thank you! It's just plain Vegetable Glycerin that you can get at any pharmacy, Walmart, Amazon or by the baking Wilton section of the craft store.

@@michellesellers6055 Thanks so much Michelle
Why r u using glycerin? Never seen using it. Thank you!
Also, what did u use to clean the stamps?
Glycerin makes the ink glide over the paper easier for a more blended look.
Tell me, what does the glycerin do?
It loosens the ink so that it glides over the paper better. I love using it when I sponge and color with it. You can get some in any pharmacy.
@@StampwithGailsu Thank you! I'll try it.
❤️❤️
thank you!
These are beautiful cards 😍
Thank you!
Replay, why do you the glycerin?
The glycerin makes the ink glide over the cardstock. It just makes it easier to blend with less marks.

It's not good for business to have a Gina K ink pad sitting on your table the whole time. ☹
