This is the first of my species spotlight videos and it’s all about the amazing Epipremnum amplissimum. In the video I talk about wanting to get hold of the much rarer variegated variety and literally as I posted this to UA-cam I got a DM from a seller (when children sleep) saying that they had one in for me. Looks like we have a follow up video on the way already.
I've had the silver for over a year, slow and steady grower. Beautiful, and solid plant, I also got the variegated Aurea version. They are stunning and beautiful.
Hi from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦 It is very hard to keep anything warm here in winter. 🥶 This video was very helpful. I have the silver version. Do you think an orchid substrate could keep these plants happy? What about a heat mat? I recently purchased the Pinnata and am thrilled with the possibility of it growing fenestrations. Would you use a moss pole on either one? This is the first video that i have seenbfrom yiur channel. Subscribed and 👍 liked. 🙂
Awesome so see a viewer from Winnipeg! I visit Canada a lot but never managed to get there. Amplimmisimum is quite forgiving for me. Tolleretes a colder winter room but stops growing for a while. Heat mats will help in winter but bright light helps more I find. Orchid mix is fine. As long as its free draining. These things grow in any medium that isn't compacted or waterlogged
@aroid_artist 🙂 Thank you for your reply. I'm thinking that 🤔 Mollie Aroid mix would do the trick. No sense in passing on a safe bet. You encouraged me to cut some vines and dab a little with propagation after seeing your cuttings thrive. ☘️🌱🌿 Wish me luck because I have a low success rate. BTW it's unusually warm for this time of year. I could never imagine us seeing green grass poking through the patches of snow in December. We generally get snow before Halloween. To be honest It is a little scary and Winnipeg was generally the only province in Canada that had a white Christmas.🎄

I find they grow the most amazing root systems over time.
I have a Pothos collection, and I just bought two cuttings of these to keep with Epipremnum theme I got going. I'm super excited for them to arrive.
That is awesome!
I've had a silver for over a year. Mine is a slow grower, bit doing good. It's doubled in size.
