The physics of this little bikes is almost the same as of the "big ones". They do wheelies, they slide, they can perform "stoppies". The difference is - the driver is fixed. They don´t lean to perform weight distribution. There actually are RC-Bike models with this feature. But i haven´t seen such a bike in competition. And finally to answer your question - Yes! They use counter steering to initiate a turn.
In my 58 years on this planet, I have managed to figure out or find out how most stuff works. How the fuck do these little gems work? Hopefully friend Google will tell me. I'm really intrigued...

MoepMoep-Movies I saw another video (Nitrorcx.com) that mentions RC motorbikes with a gyro system. Do competition RC motorbikes have a gyro system (to keep the bike upright) also? Or is that a feature all RC motorbikes have?
AFAIK there are two types of rc-bikes that utilize mechanical gyros. Offroad bikes and very tiny bikes like the Kyosho MiniZ MotoRacer. The race bikes pictured in this video are not allowed to make use of any kind of gyroscopic or any other stabilization system.
I was wondering, is there a special addres you can buy that 2 speed transmission or.. should i just jack it off a 1/10 serpent car and mount it on the bike? i was thinking of putting a Picco P7R .21 Pro engine on my nitro bike with a 2 speed. Running on 25% nitro... or do you think thats a bit of an overkill?
that lead bike sounded like it had a displacement advantage. Awesome stuff, i never knew this existed. Thanks for the introduction! Now to go empty my bank account.
too bumpy. cannot make out shit. records look shaky but do able (isthatoneword or two? doable?) anyways but live is just totally out of the question without some major image stabilization. also i feel like vibrations and bumps are killing the camera. i noticed that every cam ive ran on the surface crapped out on me for no reason later. besides crash damage ive only lost one air only cam and like a half dozen that were shook like this. anyone who thinks they are going to just go drive a rc bike is retarded. fpv or not they are one of the hardest things ive done in rc and is why they are not as popular. put a camera on a crawler or something slow, not something 100mph and unstable as fuck.
John Doe Yeah I could totally see that with nitro power they would be way too much vibration but maybe on electric with a really smooth track it might be doable. ( Yes doable is a word )... And I totally agree with you that yes FPV cameras on surface vehicles tend to go out a lot because of vibrations I've been through quite a few board cams. The Polaroid cube and a gopro seem to hold up just fine to the vibration But I have rattled runcams and mobius to death. Those 9g pan and tilt gimbals last 30sec on an off-road vehicle.
Adorable. Does left stick control lean somehow, like a weight on a servo or something? Bc otherwise how the fu?! Do they turn... Does the fork move just barely enough to cause the lean?? To google i go.
I dont know how I ended up on RC racing videos. But can some one answer me this. Do these still use counter steering being on such small scale and all?
Two strokes will be .12s and FS being .26s. The FS are so much more drivable most guys run them the two strokes are to peaky and in bikes that peaky power band is hard to handle unless you are on a wide open super fast track then everyone will run 2strokes but on tighter twisty-ier tracks FS rule. Plus the 2strokes are flipping BAD on the ultra sticky tired they burn them up so quick as where the smooth FS wont.
Thumbs up. Never seen anything like this - Amazing! It sounded like with the exception of the winner, they are two stroke engines. But, the winner's engine sounded like a four stroke. Was it?

Didnt know these existed, that was bluddy brilliant
Same here they are spectacular
This is sooo awesome. It deserves to be more popular nowadays, with these powerful brushless systems.
This by far, one of the coolest things I've ever seen, next to the real thing at super cycle weekend.
First time i have seen this type of thing . I absolutely love it ! Thank you .
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Didn't know these bikes existed.
Never knew these nitro bikes existed!!! Europe has all the toys!
I imagine the trend is Japanese
Crazy!! Gotta be extremely difficult to control.
Now I have seen EVERYTHING!!!
That is the greatest thing I have ever seen. First time seeing it. Wow.
that 4 stroke. well played. everything with that set up was spot on.
That looks like a lot of fun. Why have I not seen this til now? Thanx for sharing
finally a person who can work a camera, thank you great video.....GOD BLESS all.,,,,
That was straight-up hilarious.
Whoowwie I've never seen anything like this..... awesome!!
how do we know they're not giants?
exactly
That blew my mind how well the model is from the bike to the track the smoke it is amazing and beautiful
That's really cool. Thank you for posting.
I am speechless, just amazing
That's soooo kewl. I want to get one of these for my bf for his birfday!
And most of those guys were really good driver/operators too.
Amazing!!! That was awesome!! I want one!
Fantastic video. Very nice to see the bikes on Lostallo.
P.s: also good to hear a 4 stroke engine with two-gears transmission.
Wish I could be there :D An FPV Racing quadcopter Chase cam would do much better camera and filming work
Man that's insane!
I cant even fathom how the lead guy can control that rc bike so well. Even hitting the right lines, and braking points.
Muito show velho... Brincadeira de gente grande kkkk
Never seen that before. Utterly insane! AND hilarious!
Simplemente Espectacular!!!!
WOW! This is so Awesome!!
Man, never seen anything like this. It looks so cool!!!
I would've bet that this was not possible.
Amazing Camera-work
Great video of that motorcycle race.
Wow what a dream track! Nice work.
This is so cool, I didn't even know that competitive RC-bike racing is a thing!
so what's the soundtrack at the last video ?
I much prefer watching these things running when they have a "Rider" sitting on them. There funny. Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.
This is in Switzerland, so it's probably the only motor sport allowed.
GREAT VID
Would've been much better if squirrels were riding them
Matt Niven absolutely
do they get a helmet, knee pads, Boots & Full Leathers ?
Absolutely.Squirrels lives matter
Matt Niven They would've gone nuts
Good CALL Jeff.
4 stroke rc bike ! Awesome !! ^^
NICE!!! can't wait to get mine running again
I have to say great camera work on this vid!! Kudos
In my 58 years on this planet, I have managed to figure out or find out how most stuff works. How the fuck do these little gems work? Hopefully friend Google will tell me. I'm really intrigued...
where could i possibly buy them!?!?
Gr8 skills man !!!
Congratulations.
First time seeing RC motorbikes. Do they naturally lean toward the ground for high speed turning or is there some weight mechanism that makes it lean?

wow that is so frigging awesome!
its so amazing.
Neat, are their rc bike races in the states? If so where.
beautiful scenery.
Love the little engine whine.what are these .12 or .15 engines ?
I was wondering, is there a special addres you can buy that 2 speed transmission or.. should i just jack it off a 1/10 serpent car and mount it on the bike? i was thinking of putting a Picco P7R .21 Pro engine on my nitro bike with a 2 speed. That is Awesome, but honestly I loved the surrounding hills and mountains. Just me and my GXR-750 cruising.....Peace
Awesome race track!!!!!!!!!!
loving the 4stroke!
muito bom o video.
I love the smell of bean oil and nitro in the morning.
wow what a amazing spot for a rc track
That is so cool! Looks like real racing but with giants walking around.
very cool awesome racing
Frigging Awesome.
that lead bike sounded like it had a displacement advantage. Awesome stuff, i never knew this existed. Thanks for the introduction! Now to go empty my bank account.
was the winning bike (blue bike @ 3:00) a 4 stroke ? ..engine wasn't as high revving
Would you be allowed to contend in a race like this using an FPV system?
Afaik the rulez don´t allow it. But who knows. Perhaps that´s the next level...
too bumpy. cannot make out shit. records look shaky but do able (isthatoneword or two? doable?) anyways but live is just totally out of the question without some major image stabilization. also i feel like vibrations and bumps are killing the camera. i noticed that every cam ive ran on the surface crapped out on me for no reason later. besides crash damage ive only lost one air only cam and like a half dozen that were shook like this.

prime8 fpv awesome man. Awesome

Mr Ropez is perfect to take a course layout with out in out.like a real moto !
How on Earth is that possible?
Easy, on a flat Earth.
Very cool love it
were thier 2 strokes and 4 strokes? thats what it sounds like. very cool
ok heard about the rc car racing but bike too? wtf? where is all this new stuff coming from? and how much more awesome stuff do i not know?
Pretty damn impressive! Wish I could ride like that.
4everkokonut if you do ride like than on real life you'll be lapping f1 cars.
Amazing, I didnt know such a thing exsited...
Do you know what brand and sized engine the winner used?
Amazing!
how much is it for a rc bike like that?
so good!
Awesome!
Adorable. Does left stick control lean somehow, like a weight on a servo or something? Bc otherwise how the fu?! Do they turn... Does the fork move just barely enough to cause the lean?? To google i go.
was there a little 4 stroke in the mix somewhere? :)
+muaythai193 The winning bike (blue bike @ 3:00) was actually a 4 stroke
+Andreas Ivo was it custom built with an airplane engine? who built it?
would love to get a 4 stroke
I could hear it too. Personally those little 2 strokers are screaming!
It looks more real than cars somehow. Probly cos they have to go a bit slower?
Cars are literally doing 600+ mph scale size so of course its going to look less real.
boys will ALWAYS have their toys!!!!!!!!!
What scale is this?
Excellent
Buen Trabajo ;) eres un Crack
Still sounds better than modern F1 cars.
I dont know how I ended up on RC racing videos. But can some one answer me this. Do these still use counter steering being on such small scale and all?
Wonder what the four stroke displacement compensation is.
Two strokes will be .12s and FS being .26s. Was I the only one checking out that sick track more than the race?
awesome driving
Thumbs up. Never seen anything like this - Amazing! It sounded like with the exception of the winner, they are two stroke engines. But, the winner's engine sounded like a four stroke. Was it?
They sound like if a 2 stroke bike took a drag off a helium balloon😁
Where can i get one of these?
nuova faor- if they still make something under 2 grand.
Why does the blue bike (winner) sound almost like a 4 stroke compared to all the other normal screaming nitros?
incredible
Thats so crazy cool!
where did they find so many tiny people to ride those bikes
amazing
They sound so cute ^_^
Dang this is awesome, look real
awesome...
This looks insanely fun but I think it's funny how it sounds like you're racing baby goats
awesome! now they need to make smaller go pros!
Yeah it must be
I've seen nano drones that have great video quality and there tiny..
So how how fast are they and what scale?
The fastest are going way over 100Km/h (62miles per hour) on the long straight. The scale is 1/5
