    Well folks, we were here at the Chatuchak Weekend Market here in Bangkok last weekend on our way to our island vacation and, of course, we stopped again on our way back home. Every time is different so we found some cool stuff. We went with the intention of buying fish but things got a little out of control. Early morning flight back to the house in the morning. Thanks for watching!!!

      We thought about it but if I was to dedicate an area and cage to a potentially dangerous and hands-off animal, may as well make it something more extreme.

      Should still be there if the shop is open. The stock can change on a daily basis. Some of the snakes we filmed, and others that we didn't, arrived while we were standing in one of the shops.

      I find that with reptiles, I can assess and make very quick decisions. With fish, birds, mammals it is very different for me.

    • @philipmead5113
      @philipmead5113 4 місяці тому

      I used to keep Birds and did so for many years. I used to go to the shows and many of the sellers would have the same things. And just as you say here prices and quality could differ quite widely. The advice we used to be given was to look at the Birds that you're interested in at Zoo's and Bird Parks to see how they should look, how they naturally carry their wings and things like that. Drooping wings can be a sign of illness in Birds, but it's a natural way of holding the wings in some species. The Butcher Birds in the video are beautiful!!

      I started to study maps around the age of 8-9. Started with my grandmother's old school atlas and National Geographic magazines. From there I moved to the library and at a very early age I was able to associate wildlife and geography quite well. Still to this day I'm into it but of added interest are boundaries, intl laws, quotas, etc.

      Facebook is a strange one. We are on it, we use it....but in no way do we allow it to run our lives. Engaging with most people, FB groups, etc is a total waste of time. However, messenger is valuable to us and our business. This platform....lol, we use it for business. Our growth here is non-existent so we don't really pay attention anymore.
