I was hospitalized in October of 2022 briefly. While I was in there, I recorded and left a message for the family cat with a video. Brother put his iPad in front of the cat and played it; the cat reportedly kept trying to go around the iPad to see if "I" was behind the tablet. So these specific cats had the same line of thought, it'd seem!
Jackson Galaxy commented on this. He said he approached a game developer years ago about making a cat game, and got told, "Cats are too hard to animate with today's technology." Too many subtle movements compared to many other animals. Maybe we're only now getting to the point where a believable cat is possible for studios without spending absurd amounts of money on the animation.
@@tomahilaire3921 I have been waiting for this game since there were only a few hundred views of the first trailer. It looks like a beautiful and relaxing game but I did not buy it because it is $30 for a 5 hour game which is a bad value for pc gaming. Please don't buy it, it encourages game developers to go down a really bad path.
@@Chuckles.. I've played for well over 5 hours and I'm nowhere near finished the game, I like exploring the city and taking my time with games, I'm in no rush to get to the end.
Definitely one of my cats new favourite hobbies. He comes in and looks at the TV screen, expecting me to put it on. Sometimes I assist him with moving the analog sticks on the gamepad to let him play. I don't know if others have had accidents with their TV's.. but I'll admit I'm always a bit worried myself, should he somehow tear the screen or manage to unhook it from the wall. Something funny that DID happen though, was that he learned a bad thing. He stretched himself up from the kitchen table and started scratching the wallpaper like never before. in his 12 years he has never done that before, apart from on his own wodden scratching corners in the house on each floor. It's a beautiful game, both for you and your cat. And I really hope they make more out of it!
I've been waiting for the direct x patch, but started playing yesterday... ...my cat is the same! Lol Not sure what I enjoy more, playing the game...or abusing the 'meow button' to get my cats attention! ❤️
Aww i feel sorry for all the "Indoor" cats watching the tv cats having fun. Btw there's no such thing as an indoor cat. If you live somewhere that you think you'd have to keep a cat indoors... Don't get a cat.
My cat loves to watch birds and squirrels on UA-cam, but he could care less about this game. Maybe the Xbox One version doesn't push enough pixels to catch his attention.
The synchronized glowing eyes at 0:38 is not just cute and funny but friggin awesome.
I wanna know was that for real, or a camera effect?
@@StoryMing maybe it's the light from the camera reflecting on the retina which explains the red eye phenomena in pictures, but I'm not sure.
Cat: "Finally something interesting on TV!"
😂😂😂
The cat that jumped down and went round the back of the TV when watching the three cats jump down off their ledge was awesome.
"Wur did the catz go?"
@@nunyabiznes33 On an adventure.
Indeed 😄

my heart!!
I bet the creaters of stry are just proud of themselves for making a game that can enterain a cat as well as their human.
The cats dont feel entertained but confused af
Cats are undoubtedly cute. Cats reacting to a cat in the game are super cute!
Shout out to the developers. If they can make your cats react like this they did something right.
It seems even cat appreciate this game. Seeing more of this game makes me wonder how come we never got a similar game before.

It probably happened during Playstation 2 or Playstation 3 era.
Current generation consoles are pretty much a computer now.
Stray has been a roaring (or purring) success of a game and no doubt the sequel is going to be almost as much if not more of a success.
Cats be like “He’s just like me, fr!”
I'm a cat lover and I absolutely enjoy this video. Looks like I might even enjoy playing that game.
It’s really fun! I just finished it today. Absolutely delightful game.
@@My_Fair_Lady Practically, but not in the way I'd like to be.

The cats actually think it’s real and that they can somehow go into the screen, it’s really fascinating and funny

It seems bad habits can be learned from video games. Lol, he sounds like a sweetheart.
Poor kitties just wanna play and make friends x) Fun to watch tho. :P
The cats are just like “WTF?”
I’ve played the game and I loved it and it shows how accurate the cat was depicted that real cats can’t tell it apart😊
Cats focusing more on catching the cat then actually meowing back
Cats meow more for humans than cats
0:37 W👀W the same view same eyes
When you making the game so good that even Cats and Dogs love the game.
4:12 That black cat was like: So he is gone? Just like that? Is he alive?

Have you got the trophy yet for 100 meows?
2:31 This made actually lol.
Someday this game will make cat's become gamers because they enjoy seeing it 😊
Yes!
Mine just sat there thinking ‘I wish I could move and jump like him’.
So cute and so funny ,🥺🥺🥺👌
0:38 SHEESHHH
I wish I could understand what they were communicating through the TVs
I wish stray was a survival community of cats kind of game instead of the game it is, and in an open world
I was watching gameplay video and my cats ears pick up when she heard the meows
I think I just overdosed on cutness... 😅😸
*Me after seeing the Calico cat:* Its Spottedleaf 😕
So cuteeee!!❤ My cat do the same thing when i was playing ❤
just found out my cat likes this game too lol
Funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So so cute

Haha yes, my cat loves those bird and cat videos too. He kinda ignored the game as well. Maybe our cats know the real thing from the fake thing.
this cat game has no hope of failing.
what i came for.= cats react to the stray game...
what i actually saw= rich mofos with huge 4k tv and ps 5
🤣
At this point, the PS5 probably costs more than the 4k tv...
