Her tone was undermining Sarah the whole time. Certainly not objective. Sarah was professional in her response but I always wondered what she was thinking about the line of questioning.
She misunderstood his use of "honey". It's true that it is sometimes used condescendingly towards women (usually by really old men addressing waitresses in a diner), but that's not what was going on here.
