Great "behind the scenes" video, in terms of being clear about what you used, where you located equipment, props, and lights, and how you fastened things down (i.e., pixels to your props, props to your homes mortar, and props to PVC tubing). One slight correction: each port of the Falcon controller (and any manufacturer's controller) can run the pixels on more than one prop. The limitation of each port is the number of pixels (and technically, the amps used) you want to control. E.g., and I believe you showed you do this, you can run more than one of your mini trees from a single controller port.
The brick work on your home is so cool. I had to mention that lol. Great job with the light setup. I like the icicles.
Great video and show. I am just getting started so I would love to see a video on how you got started.
My first year I outlined my windows, door, garage door, eves, and peaks. Had the mega tree, arches, and mini trees.
Great behind the scenes for a new person like myself.
How do you get the icicles on the gutters? Lift or latter?
Is this show a 10k investment over your 7 plus years?
First year I had my icicles, I did use a ladder. I rent a lift from Sunbelt every year now. Makes it so much easier, faster, and safer.
Honestly, I have no idea what I have invested in my display because I add a little every year. If I had to guess, it’s probably close to 10K
That "plastic" material looks like what, in Australia, we call "Corflute" essentially corrugated plastic, similar to corrugated cardboard. I'm assuming I could drill my own holes, not that drilling 1000 holes turns me on at all, but freight to Australia is ridiculous.
@@erikgoodwinI'm at the point of considering renting a lift now and I only have solar lights in my display. But I'm wanting to evolve it to include some pixel lights, I have a few inflatables, some wooden structures I have made, some animations and a heap of static props, I think I uploaded a video to my channel if anyone wants to have a look. Although I may have to move house again, damn landlords keep selling out from under me! One day I'll have my own place to keep and put decorations up as I like! You should investigate brick clips, since you have a brick house! Thanks for the awesome info.
I am also interested in your house. Is that a custom home or is it a plan you can choose from? I like the front view and the brick work, which is very fancy.
Wonderful video. Where did you get the coro for the peace stakes from?
Thank you! I used Chroma Trim from Boscoyo and cut to size
You have a great looking display. What is the spacing on your window matrix?
Thank you. The window matrix spacing is 2 inches
