Nice work! great display. Thanks for sharing!
Very informative! What a fascinating process. Excellent work.
I have a couple of the Wal-Mart trees also. Went a different way on the stars. I had some Coroplast left over from my Tune To sign build. I took the star that came with the tree apart and took out the white LEDs. I then took the one side with the flair to mount on the stand, traced and cut out the outline on the Coroplast, and attached it with some bolts and washers. I then drilled 1/2” holes and pushed some extra 5 volt WS2811 I had and tied them to another port on my controller. Only a single row, but they still look pretty good. Might replace them with the 12” double row from Gilbert Engineering for next year.
I didn't indicate in the video, but I cut most the zip ties and moved the lights to make it more dense. Instead of a 360 tree its around 200-220. I think I put it as 200 in xlights.
thanks for showing in details, I am can imagine how many long months have been spent to make this happen, I also run a very basic Balcony Pixel Lights show, its Just 512 Leds (ws2811, 5v, 12mm bullet pixels) on a matrix of 16x32 and still my neighbors get amazed with effects 🤩🤩🤩🤩
That’s great! All these are the same type of pixels.
Very nice tour of your setup. Where did you find the mount for your power distribution and differential receiver? I will be needing something like that for my show this year. Thank you!
I printed it. You can buy the file or a print from inspire light shows.

Awesome job and video. Can you tell me what magnets and receiver plates you used and where to get them? That is such a great idea!!
These are the magnets I used. The plates are just regular washers I picked up from the hardware store.

Did you have the electrical outputs on the roof installed or did you build the house with lights in mind?
Fortunately I built it with the outlets there specifically for Christmas lights. I didn’t originally plan for this elaborate of lights though when we built the house. We just used it with other lights for the first few years.
@@LightsonBrushCreek it is a great idea. I made a note for our future home
