I use this one plugin called AMT-1, have some of the same settings but this plugin is a little more advanced and up to date, but you'll be surprised of how good those older VST's be.
Great release Audiothing :) I really love the GUI but it's interesting to see that the past plugin release really focus on voice synthesis (Phonem Synthesizer, Jussi Synth, VoiceSynth and now your plugin :) Congrats for the release ;)
Couldn't hear much going on when the dials were turned, though I was listening on my phone, an interesting concept, but you need to sell it to us more .....

hio! i knew i wasnt clear enough... im trying to have it start up like a traditional plugin would, all parameters to zero, no effect happening. you know, with mix at 100% so that when i start grabbing stuff i can see what im doing. i also dont want a mix of my source and the effect, just the post effects signal. how do i turn off that filter? no matter how i set things up im still missing parts of the spectrum. i need the other half of my audio going through :)
The Orb is a formant filter, it features 3 bandpass filters, so when the Mix is at 100% the sound is completely filtered by the 3 filters. You can bypass each filter by clicking on the small bypass buttons next to the Formant label (or by lowering the volume of each formant directly with the sliders). If you bypass all three, with the Mix at 100% you won't hear any sound. If you don't want any original source mixed with the effect, just leave the Mix at 100%.
This is by far my favorite and most used filter plugin and I got quite a few.
Suggestion: A lock indicator would be helpful to see which parameters will be locked.
I would have liked to hear on differents sounds, like fx sounds (psy squelch, sweep, growl...) etc...

I would prefer the master section having separate source volume and separate FX volume for more precise parallel control
If you're using Ableton Live, you could make an FX rack with your own dry/wet knob to fade between FX and original.

You can turn the Mix (bottom right parameter) to 0%
