It feels so incredible to FINALLY be able to control my car while non stop air rolling (RIGHT) and trying to purposely force myself to lose control. I thought I'd never pick it up but as of yesterday it all magically clicked out of no where and now I can keep my car up no matter how much I try to lose control while air rolling (RIGHT) the entire time. Thanks for all the amazing content your tutorials and 100 hour series helped me take my game from mid diamond into champ 2 in duos. Looking forward to seeing what is next 🎉
Thanovic, the three aerial car mechanics that helped my freestyling would be airdribbles so I understand how to air roll my car vertically, ceiling shots because they teach you how to air roll you car while upside down and double touches because they help you air roll your car up, down or to the side. Before I tried anything I started doing one air roll off the ground to see where my car would go. I also tracked the speed of the air roll and the speed and moment of my car when I don't air roll. Once you've tried all the air rolls on the ground try them upside and to the left and right. This helped me the most and is the reason why I can freestyle now

Looking forward to the freestyle video, hopefully it's a lot more fun to practice. I might learn pogos to give my c3 1v1 opponents more trouble.

Quick question... when you practice your aerial control drills, do you hold your directional air roll button? Or do you use both?... I know it depends on the player but I use both directional air roll and normal air roll and I find it extremely difficult to control my car while spinning the whole time, I can do it but not consistently... thx for the help :)
I used to have that problem it’s just muscly memory. Try air rolling upside down or sideways right before you hit the ball that’s how I started learning. Also I hold my air roll button for the ball and the directional button I use for half flips. Hope I helped
So i alternate between tornado spins and normal air roll when I need to make small readjustments. So a lot of it is air roll left and then every now and then I use normal air roll. I'll heart you both so you get the notification haha
@@Thanovic I can use both l, I tend to use air roll left to make quick adjustments while going up for a redirect or just any fast ball, it's the continuous spin thing that I just find really difficult
@@brunkchannel as someone who uses air roll right almost every time I'm in the air, its just learning how your car moves with how you move your stick. the thing with an air roll bind is you still have almost full control of your car instead of losing most of it with regular air roll. it comes down to learning how to adjust yourself with it. I learned by doing rings full on air rolling the whole time and throwing it into my gameplay when it wasn't really needed. I'd recommend going into casual and just trying to go for the ball with it, same with redirect packs, to learn how to move your car in specific ways.

Lol. You do you boo. I’m happy with my settings. ❤️
This channel needs to blow up
Amazing video as always Thano! Nothing really to say except now you've just not given me an excuse NOT to do the training here (I've been meaning to do ground car control for a while and now you release this and I have zero excuses lol)
Excellent videos man! I have a video series idea for you, I just recently started playing Rocket League and basically spend all of my time on the ground during a match. It's time for me to start getting into the air during these matches but it's hard to know where to start... Do you stay in ball cam or switch to car view? Do you boost then jump or jump first then boost? Basically I'm asking for a video series to take someone from a beginner to intermediate :) Thanks for all the great content man!
Something like that is coming soon I think
I loveeee your vids man keep up the good work!
I watch stuff like this and get really excited to jump into free play and then it dawns on me that i've been stuck in high plat for 6 months and still stuck.
Ill miss the 100hrs series but you do you love your content
