Jurassic World Live Tour is a live arena show. Twenty-four dinosaurs are included in the show with seven species in total. These dinosaurs include a 43-foot long T. rex that weighs 8,000 lbs. Blue, the Velociraptor from the Jurassic World franchise, and Pteranodons that will swoop down and pick performers up during the show.
The dinosaurs move through animatronics (for the larger dinosaurs) and live acting (for the smaller dinosaurs) in which "dinoteers" walk the dinosaurs around the arena while wearing dinosaur costumes. The show also features stunts using props such as a Jurassic World Jeep, motorcycles and a Gyrosphere.
The show is canon. The production crew consulted with Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow and Frank Marshall during the creation of the show, ensuring that there were no continuity errors between the show and the Jurassic World story, as well as ensuring that the dinosaurs, props and tone of the show aligned with that of the Jurassic World franchise.[4] The show features the original score from the movies.
The Jurassic World Live Tour show follows an original storyline that takes place at some point between the first two Jurassic World movies. The story is written by Shawn Thomas and Steve Jarczak and directed by Dan Shipton and Ross Nicholson. The story begins on the day Jurassic World falls and ends before the beginning of the adventures shown in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The story will focus around a team of scientists led by Dr. Kate Walker that have been working on a "Dino-Decoder," a device that allows humans to understand dinosaur emotions. After the Indominus rex escapes on Isla Nublar, the team becomes separated. It is not until later on when the "Dino-Decoder" sends out a signal that the team discovers that Jeannie - a Troodon that the team had been testing the device on - is still alive. As the team sets out on a quest to save her, they discover that InGen still intends to weaponize dinosaurs and that they are intrigued by the "Dino-Decoder" and Jeannie. The adventure moves to an InGen facility in Chile, where conflict breaks out featuring dinosaur-on-dinosaur and dinosaur-on-human battles. The story then circles back to Isla Nublar

I tool my 11 year old son to this last night at he Honda Center. He loved it and you could hear the excitement in the kids. Even some adults.

How long is the show?

Hi, friend! You said you wanted an update, I took my twins last Saturday. Life got busy and I basically forgot to update you. They did so well at first, front row was super immersive and everyone was so talented. Even background characters, they all gave it 100%. But… just as I feared, the twin with sensory issues has to be taken out at the beginning of the second act.
He did well until the dinosaurs came up to us, inches away. He had noise muffling headphones but when they got right in front of us he was terrified they would eat him. It broke my heart. Because it was my Christmas present, my mom took him out for the last hour. It was still an incredible show and he had fun with his 40 dollar bubble blower and ridiculously overpriced cotton candy. lol.
So sorry. Glad he tried I hope he enjoyed it a little

I saw this show at the Heritage Bank Center (formerly known as the US Bank Arena) in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday, October 15, 2022 and it was the greatest show that I have ever seen.
I wasn't going to miss it for anything else.
I've always wanted to see such a show ever since I had learned about Walking with Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular.
Jurassic World Live would certainly make a great attraction to replace the former Blue Man Group show at the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida.

After I had seen the Jurassic World Live Tour, I've been working on a letter to send to the Universal Orlando Resort to find out if they would give it some consideration to have Jurassic World Live be a replacement attraction.
I just hope they'll like the idea of it.
I happen to work for Universal in the tourism development and live content division. We are planning to debut this show 8 Universal for a short time secret run at the end of September. It will star Miranda May formerly of Disney Channel as long as she is able to overcome a legal case involving a stalker from Ohio.

Why do you think they keep it so bright? Jurassic park the movie was purposefully filmed at night for this very reason…

My favorite part of this show was when it pointed out that the stance Owen took made the raptors recognize them as their alpha because he raised them that way; that you can't just effortlessly raise your hand and halt any dinosaur dead in its tracks. Weird how a mostly kid-oriented show knows more about the Jurassic mythos than Dominion does.

Hi Dani. It does have a few shock moments, like a small explosion but it wasnt that bad. I would say it was up to the individual kid and what they have seen in the past. The BIG dinos move really slow as you can see. I is a judgement call by the parent in my opinion. The good thing is this is the entire show and it will be easy to judge!
Hi! It depends. I have twin sons that are 3 1/2. My first born was terrified and had to be taken out. The second born (by 3 minutes lol) LOVED the entire thing and even had a dinosaur come up to him and touch noses with him.
With that being said, we were FRONT ROW. I believe if it had been a normal seat, my baby would have been fine. It was them being right in front of us that really scared him. I know I’m 3 months late but I hope this helps
Between this, Fallen Kingdom and Dominion, it’s like they were intentionally competing on who could make the shittiest follow up to Jurassic World.

There’s only so much you can do in a live show
Sorry,...but it's violent rubbish (constant fighting). If you don't want your kids exposed to this type of nonsense then definitely don't go. Felt like less of a good parent after attending this with my family. A lot of negativity exudes from this mindless production, a present day reflection of a culture of violence. Do we really need this much violence in a show designed for younger audiences? I heard others mentioning this as well. We will never get back the 3 hours total time committed that day of the "show". It's really a lowest common denominator mindless production. I'm sorry to have subjected my kids to this really, save your money and your mind.

@@RobFuz Thanks for your response :) My thoughts about the show might seem a little harsh but it was the violence that really disturbed me. The show is for kids, so big dinosaurs coming to life is entertainment for them. I just felt that the fighting (which also included men hitting women) was way over the top but probably done in order to show the performers' acrobatic abilities. Children should not become accustomed to seeing violence...

Not sure if you’ve seen Jurassic Park/ World before, but it’s not a fairytale story. All the movies feature gore and violence, this show is EXTREMELY tame and cheesy for children. If kids are only used to media that never shows true conflict then keep them away from this franchise if you’re wish is to shield them from this kind of fantasy.
