Maccabees - I have a book called 'Apocrypha', and Maccabees is in the Apocrypha. Text is the Authorized King James Version - publisher is Cambridge University Press. This book is 159 pages long in tiny print. The Catholic Bible includes the Apocrypha where as the Protestant Bibles don't. I 'think' the Apocrypha is all Old Testament text. Don't know why or when they were removed from the Catholic Version of the bible. Something to do with the Canon?
