So these would be good for a new DM trying to get D&D 5e players into the system. I have a lot of the Call of Cthulhu books and trying to get them into the game. So this would be a good way even though as you say not enough meat on the bones. These could set them up enough to then run Dead Light etc. I just took a look at the other review and kinda switch off when they seem more focused on Love Craft's racism, then focusing on pre-gen player gender, race and religious views. It does offer a view point, but you managed to give a good review without going into woke territory as people can just adjust characters to suit their own needs without making it an issue. I think i will pick it up and run them.
I was supposed to DM What’s in the cellar tomorrow, but we had a schedule problem. Maybe next week. Anyway, nice review.
