Agree this is a very good collection of adventures for a beginning keeper. The first one is also very suitable for Pulp Cthulhu. I ran the last one in 1990s San Francisco it definitely has a "modern" vibe.
There’s a warning about the asylum but the prior adventure is about subhuman former slaves 😅 It’s good they’re trying. The book looks awesome. Excited to run all of it. Thanks for the review
My favorite scenario is Genius Loci. There is some interesting real life history to the Danvers Asylum that I was able to add to it to dial up the fun.
Oddly enough, that happens to be my least favorite adventure in the collection. Just my personal taste as I've never been much of a fan of tales featuring the Iloigor. Plus I feel, as an adventure geared to beginning players, the conclusion feels like a bit of a let down. ~ Jeff
@@Thegaminggang When you said that in the video, I cried. I get what you're saying though. I ran it with a bunch of experienced players. I think a few lived. They had a real fun encounter on a train chasing a bad guy.
