I want to cry when I hear this song 😢 I just can’t let the 70’s go . Beautiful memories, beautiful time how I remember my mom , listening to this song in my country El Salvador , even though we did not know much English, but we had an idea what the song was about. Blessings to all of you !🙏💜🌸
March 1979 and I’m stationed in northern California. Just turned 18 years old and buying a 5 speed standard Honda Civic from a grown up sergeant many miles from base. I never drove a standard before but managed to figure it out on the way back to base, driving past miles of farmland with this song playing on the radio. Will never forget that sense of freedom.
March 1979 I remember driving though the desert with my brother hearing this song and thinking of my girlfriend at the time. I was only a young teenager 😂😂😂. Bittersweet memories
I lived this. And, it was incredible. She was magnificent. I met her almost every night. She showed up as an intern in my design firm s king whether she could show me he portfolio. The rest is what follows: Unexpected She watches me like a cat observes its next meal moving closer purring her quiet introduction.
A design intern for six weeks, would I review her portfolio? Dressed in brilliant white her scent of summer lavender draws me closer. In blushed apology she reveals the best examples of her work are at another location, would I mind the inconvenience? A cab delivers us to a brownstone, deadbolt thrown, she leads me to a bed covered by thick, fur throws then disappears.
One flame becomes many as I watch a shadow lighting candles until the room is transformed into a votive altar. Silently she appears above me, eyes staring into mine filling her lair with words of quiet supplication and begins to perform rhythmic,
undulating movements catching tears with claws of velvet, gently touching the moisture to my lips while her work waits on a chair by the door. W.J. Phillips 10/30/ 20
Saw them October 2022 and tonight - September 2023 - and they didn't play No Tell Lover either time, but it's still one of the greatest hits of theirs and will always be a timeless classic ...
Great song by Chicago from early 1979. A top 15 hit. I believe it peeked at # 14 in March of 1979 on Billboard top 40. Also got a rare play on R&B Stations.
Nice song of the seventies. Although performed long ago, this is really one of those songs that trascends the time they were released, it has not become outdated by any means.
IDK who this guy is but boy does he do an incredible job. One might think that is Peter's voice. Plus he plays guitar and horns on same tune? What? 🤣 He is right where he belongs whoever he is!!
LOL... It is Peter Cetera. You're listening to the original recording. The video is of the group performing it live but whoever did this video thought it best to use the original recording for audio... And that's fine by me.

We have them in our hearts
How your words are so true, older Chicago, I'll be 70 in January, when God said time was a vapor,he knew how people were going to react.😢
One of the finest Chicago songs. Everything is perfect, voices music, everything. Thank you Chicago.
Best
Never saw Cetera sing this live or by video. This version is Ceteras voice. The studio recording. Not Lee Laughnane. Get real !!😮😮😮😮😮

April 2022, and I'm playing this over and over. As great today as ever.
@@jazz4asahel You should check out Chicago's live performance 2017 with Lou Pardini's Call On Me.Very soulful.
@@karenlopez9417 Thanks for the heads up. Found it, and yes it's nice. Lou Pardini puts in some great soulful touches. Music!
@@karenlopez9417 Lou Pardini is great in that tune. Reminds me of Average White Band making things soulful.
This has got to be Chicago's best tune.
Chicago never ever gets old, very Talented Musicians with Great Ability to entertain the world..
Best Chicago song. Very underrated.
My all time favorite song.
Still to this day that song sends chills up my spine
This is Peter Cetera singing, not what your watching
One of my alltime favorite Chicago songs. Love Peter Cetera's voice!
That is Peter Cetera singing but that is not Peter cetera in the Video!!
One of my all-time Chicago faves.......
Mine too
It’s a great song but they’re not playing. That’s the studio version of the song.
This song brings back memories of my youth, Chicago one of the best bands of all time
I absolutely love this song !!
Rare live that sounds like original audio. Chicago is awesome!
🤦🏾♀️...
It is the original audio overdubbed on the live video. Watch it closely.
Saw them do this live. It was beyond spectacular!!!!
This may be a video of Chicago but it's Peter Cetera singing not Lee Loughnane!
obviously, who does not know Chicago, it is the only video of the song on the internet
one of those songs that last the test of time...
🕺🎙🎺🎷
I love this song, makes me remember when was very young!
MY FIRST REAL LOVE FOR A MAN TERRY KATH R.I.P. I'VE ALWAYS LOVED U 💐💐💋💋🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😎

Great Music. ❤
This performance sounds so awesome.
Saw them October 2022 and tonight - September 2023 - and they didn't play No Tell Lover either time, but it's still one of the greatest hits of theirs and will always be a timeless classic ...
Lee Loughnane is singing vocals in the video, but it sounds like the original with Peter Cetera and Donnie Dacus on vocals?
❤ Classic ❤

Still sounds Awesome. I have the album.
Pure class❤
Chicago thank you for memories...😉
I was in high school when I heard this song for the first time and fell in love with it.
HERMOSA CANCION.
Omg I love this song greatest band ever ❤️❤️
Classic as it gets! Great music forever
Sounds like the record and not live
Great song but video is of a concert and not the song.

I think there is no video clip of that song
This is a Chicago beauty! Great song:)
Nice song of the seventies. Although performed long ago, this is really one of those songs that trascends the time they were released, it has not become outdated by any means.
Uhmmmm I was 16 when I heard this song. Love Lee Lougnone!!!!!
The brass is so awesome, one of my favorites but not on current concert playlist.
263 people like the video, as long as there are people who like my videos, I will continue editing them
Change it 😉
Who is bassist in this edition of the band? These musicians are making this sound like a movie of your own heart. How talented is that.
As before God like performance job by all

Debbie Brown I sorry for your pain
It's even better sounding on the shakey cam.
IDK who this guy is but boy does he do an incredible job. One might think that is Peter's voice. Plus he plays guitar and horns on same tune? What? 🤣 He is right where he belongs whoever he is!!
That’s Lee Louchnane, he plays Trumpet & I believe he composed this song 🎶.

@@roboliver8789 🤣😂 Well, that would explain it!
It is 100% Cetera. And Lee wrote this with Cetera and Seraphine the drummer.
@roboliver8789
🤦🏾♀️
don't tell these idiots anything.
people are slow af these days.

Who know Lee had such a great voice,Robert Lamm has always been my favorite, but he has skills.
This is the studio/album version of the song. This is Peter's voice you're hearing. Lee has a lower voice.
I ❤️ a lot this very real and so romantic tune. Many thanks to Chic...ago 🎼 !!!
You used the original track for the cover band 😂.
Who is listening in 2024 to this great song?❤❤
i remember this at the skating rink couples wow the memories.....
Who is the lead singer on this? Ohh nevermind. I see this is the original recording
Reminds me of Germany in 1991, when I fell in love..
Timeless classic.
Cetera's voice coming from Lee Loughnane. Nice.
He does a good Peter Cetera (no doubt)
Peter Cetera is the only one who can give that song the justice it deserves.
Lee has a lower baritone voice, he doesn't sound like Peter. Funny how people think Lee is singing this.
I wish more bands would bring in the horns.
THANKYOU! The sound is great. Much appreciated 🎶
That doesn't look like Walter on Sax either
Since when does lee lockne sound like peter cetera?
if you find a video of that song where Cetera sings it I will upload it immediately
Thank You for this great upload!! *****
Audio and video is Awesome!! Another 5 stars *****
thanks
Very cool! And different!
Outstanding song

Not .. organic ✔️
ah, yes, memories of doing the wrong things.
