It's much easier if you use two mouth ends. Cut off two bottoms and that way don't have to keep taking container apart. Instead sew them together permanently with fishing line. Or nylon string. Poke holes all around it. Then add bread/crackers. And rocks for keeping it under water. And when you catch minnows, unscrew the outer lid so it's easier to get to, without having to take container completely apart... Ive used 2 liters, 20oz Peak Tea bottles, etc.
