Few years ago, I visited museum in Pomona where Union Pacific 4014 Big Boy Locomotive was displayed (before the restoration). many sheet metal parts had rough cuts that looked like they were cut with torch, and not ground down at all.
Oh, it's a complete knockdown unit. We mostly got completely build unit from Japan. But many also got theirs by containers in pieces, mostly Isuzu SKW and other trucks.
They could never be the next china. Pakistan has corruption and political infighting that holds it back. China has none of this and crushes political opponents
