Yama Q is a great guy. The phenomenon stopped when he adopted a stray cat, he did lots of research on ancient burial mounds in the area. There is one across the street.

That black hole one sounds like it's straight up trying to suck you into an unholy realm.
The blackhole is simply movements of data that are far removed from "sound" it's ludicrous they even release this stuff. The back hole audio is simply a note synthesized from a several light year long strip of an x-ray image taken of the back hole. This strip is rotated through the centre (as shown in the companion graphic) and then transposed into human audible range.
It's extremely arbitrary, you'd get similar results by applying this technique to a photo of anything and is nothing but a gimmick with no scientific value.

5:26 Audio Sonification does not mean thats what the object in the picture sounds like. The brightness values of the individual pixels are "mapped" to specific frequencies, which then make up the sound. You could do this to a picture of a Cow licking its nose and get the same result.

That wailing ghost gave me goosebumps. Once, while visiting my grandmother in Mexico, I woke up to hearing something similar. It sounded far away. My grandmother lives on a mountainside, near a river. The next morning, my uncle came to breakfast and said he couldn't sleep because all he could hear was "La Llorona" at night.
yeah, i got some ptsd flashbacks on that one and am literally sitting here in tears over how chilling that is. the reason for this and its the reason i feel the need to carry a gun can only be understood if you have heard your name called out from the woods.....on a midnight walk in the snow...with no one else around. yeah, this video freaked me out

Holy fuck that child's scream is legitimately terrifying. It goes beyond just a jump-scare kind of noise, whether it's real or if its just radio audio, there's something about it that triggers a panic response from me, even when I know its coming.

I mean, it's just the unsettling context of the videos. If this was a party with lots of people and he walked into the room, then you heard that voice you wouldn't find it very creepy. It's only because you've been primed for a scare that you find it scary.

6:40 That was my evp, the microphone I was using was whatever was attached to the laptop. I'm glad you added it, I know it's real but it's incredibly difficult for people to just listen to it and believe it. I was the only one in the room. Every sound came from the hole in the ceiling. I didn't touch the laptop while recording, I left the room. Thanks for adding it though 😀

The growl sounds like a glitch in the recorder he’s using.
It’s the exact sound of a tremolo self oscillating.
The mic was cutting in and out very fast.
That black hole sound is used in a really cool analog horror series about a sinkhole.
Do you know the name of the series? I'm really curious...

damn dude that first one completely freaked me out. at first i thought it would be explained away as some animal with an incredibly humanlike wail (like you see in these mountain lion videos) and then whatever tf that was responded to the boiling water being thrown and i totally shat myself. great video!
As creepy as it was, I can't help but wonder if it's just sound editing, like a recording that they had and then synced it up with the video. I'm usually the first to believe in the paranormal, but for some reason I just can't be convinced

It's ridiculous that NASA even realise that garbage. That is not what it sounds like... that is what a couple of light year wide static x-ray image of the blackhole sounds like when you run the pixel data through a synthesiser and shift the signal into human hearing range. You can basically do the same with any picture and get similar results it's an entirely arbitrary process with data sampled in such a way to produce that exact eerie sound because they wanted it to be like that.

Not until I found this channel did I realize how cool that little riff in the bridge of Collective Soul "December" was. That they use super slow in the intro music. The content is quality, as well
Over lockdown, I filmrd a series of "haunted" encounters. Provided videos, photos, audio, a history for the location with evidence to back it all up.
Paranormal investigators and podcast creators came round and interviewed me and captured their own evidence.
This went on for over six months. And all of it was fake. I let the podcasters know, and the investigators, how I did it etc. They were unhappy.
Anyway, my point is, I was able to create something incredibly authentic and film it, with very little effort and on a whim.
Ever since, I can't take these haunting videos seriously. Because of how easy it was to fake for me

Thank you! I was a little disappointed with this "spooky entities" type of Terrifying Sounds episode. I like the previous 4 episodes with the raw and real footage with audio of legit situations. Tired of this overdone ghost crap.

id rather have a video about like sounds that actually happened, because even if ghosts exist the fact that they are so easily faked and recreated kinda ruins the feeling of those videos.

You'll never be able to find a "legit ghost video" because ghosts aren't real, if they were they would need to obey the law of physic just like everything else in the universe, even the void of space obeys to its laws, example, if a ghosts was able to touch anything, it means it's made out of atoms, which then means you would be able to literally touch/kick the shit out of a ghost, if it was able to see, it means it needs to have eyes and a brain, which generates electromagnetic energy which we would be able to easily capture, the fact that it doesn't it means it has none, if a supposed ghost doesn't produce any kind of energy whatsoever it means it just doesn't exist since everything in the universe produces energy that we can easily pick up, go on and so forth.
TLDR Ghosts aren't real, but doesn't mean you can't enjoy spooky videos, just like scary movies

That we can view an optical illusion but are unable to correct the abberation our brain depicts to us, even once it's explained to us why it occurs, is an easily digestible example of how powerful, how complex the mind can be. A couple of (not always) well timed sound effects along with a moving chair are so simplistic as compared to, for example, Michelangelo seeing David in a block of marble or Einstein visualising space and time as one.
And on a personal level, apparitions are almost always dressed in clothing of their period - modesty seems the least of their concerns but I digress - no one has explained to me how the apparitions clothing passed.
All that being said, I still enjoy scaring the bejeebus out of myself, so thank you for the excellent work you do in creating your videos!

My nephew was 3 or 4 yrs old. He sat in a corner having a conversation. He got up & stomped to the kitchen. Dad asked what was wrong. Nephew simply said “Uncle Sal. I’m thirsty…”
He got my nephew a drink of water.
Within 15 min he got a call. “Uncle Sal passed away, I’m so sorry.”
He asked when it happened-
It lined up with my nephew’s little corner convo w/ “uncle sal.”
Not only had my nephew never met him? He never heard his name previous. His dad adopted him into his fam after he married my sis- he was almost 3, and had not even met most of dad’s family yet cuz they lived out of town.
