I first saw Lari on UA-cam about 5 years ago . Her playing is wonderful , and I can show her videos to my grand daughter without cringing . Classy lady , great musician.

I noticed that the episode of Austin City Limits with Lyle Lovett & The Large Band is showing on my local PBS station here in Tucson, AZ at 12am Monday. The date & time may be different in other markets. I don't know why they show it at midnight, but I guess we're lucky we get it all, for a long time we didn't!
Lari was also a guest on Tim and Pete's Guitar Show (Tim Pierce, Pete Thorn) four or five years ago, and that video is still available. She just exudes joy when she plays, and is such a pleasure to watch, as well as listen to!

Along with several other people on your channel I was introduced to Lari via your good self. After that brief little video of hers I immediately ordered her new album both on CD and coloured vinyl from her website. Eternally grateful for the introduction.
Have seen Lari play an Australian Maton guitar. The Maton factory is probably about 20 miles from here so it was great to see her using Aussie quality. She is incredibly impressive and has a heaven sent gift. We have too much water here on the east coast of Australia and it is cold yet next week they are predicting a heatwave in Melbourne. Who said climate change doesn’t exist?

I fear the world may run out of time with looming threats of war from fighting over the South China Sea and also the sad Ukraine conflict that could effect all of Europe. Never been a conservationist but I am a dad and a grandfather and that is what concerns me the most. We don’t own this world we only borrow it from future generations. Lari Basilio Is Certainly a great guitar player and an interesting composer. I love her extensive use of the whammy bar and the beautiful legato passages however when she shreds it does remind me of DS. Speaking of rain, if we get anymore here in South Eastern Australia the crops will be ruined!

I've added her to my ever-growing list of "guitar artistes I wish I could play like". Maybe in my next life... Anyway, I was so glad to hear the songs you shared, because they were not among the videos I watched. My initial impression was her similarity to Eric Johnson, but the last piece you played reminded me of Joe Satriani's Surfing With The Alien. Regardless, while I may hear tidbits of others, taken as a whole I think she is a unique treasure. I look forward to becoming acquainted with her oeuvre and following here journey. Thanks again.

I've been absent for a few days as my nephew is still in an induced coma, and I can't think of too many other things. I'm mainly commenting to remind most of you to not ignore feeling very unwell. My nephew contracted septicaemia and earlier intervention would've helped him. Everything is easier in hindsight; off my soapbox now.

I've been absent for a few days as my nephew is still in an induced coma, and I can't think of too many other things. I'm mainly commenting to remind most of you to not ignore feeling very unwell. My nephew contracted septicaemia and earlier intervention would've helped him. Everything is easier in hindsight; off my soapbox now.

@@ranatlas thank you for your comments . My nephew has emerged from the coma and 8 minutes of CPR relatively unscathed. He has a long road of recovery in front of him. For me, this was a salient reminder to not take anything for granted.
