We are a UK elderly couple who have visited Slovenia a few times, always enjoyed it immensely, just hope we can return when Covid allows us. Wonderful Bled , the Vintgar gorge, lake Bohinj, Triglav etc & we found the food excellent. A truly wonderful Country ! Thanks Alen

It is so sad how little we know our own country. Especially because it is so small. I was in Iceland in summer working and the country is 5 times bigger than Slovenia and population 5 times smaller than Slovenia.

i would be tempted to base jump with a wingsuit from up those mountains, yea that be the place to retire alright...
your so lucky living in amongst all those trees alen. not many of those where i live. very nice scenery yea. im working in the cumbrian mountain range near scotland, is nearly as nice as where you are. its the closest i get to nice scenery. i seen two young female wild deer the other week. :) you remind me to get my camera out.
