Saw this movie a while ago and it really hits home for those of us who has grown up in closed religious environments like this. You don’t fully realize how screwed up it is until you leave from there.
I remember when I saw this movie.And I was just a big question mark when I left the cinema. There are various problematic situations that are mentioned in the movie, things that you as an audience will expect the film to more or less have a focus on. Eating disorder, an absent and possibly assaulting/violent father, money troubles, the relationship with her stepfather.. as the film went by, the focus just changed and got more confusing.

The title does not fit the movie at all.

I didn't understand anything in this movie, it's super confusing. The story with her father didn't even have an ending 😕
