2024 8th Annual Coconut Festival

On September 6 & 7, 2024, the Municipality of Rota held its 8th Annual Coconut Festival paying homage to the Coconut Tree, known to our people as the "Tree of Life." The Coconut Tree is one of the most important native plants on our island, rooted deep in the history of our people.
Special thanks to Frank "The Crank" Camacho and BigMikesChanmpionshipBelts for sponsoring the belt for the Coconut Pie Eating Contest, all our local and off-island artist and performers, Tipiyeu Bwii Bwi, Famagu'on Luta, Alvin Cruz, Jonavan Lizama, Primitive Dance Krew & We 3, and all our local venders and Cultural demonstration booths.
We would like to thank all the sponsors, the Rota Mayor's Office staff, 19th Rota Municipal Council, the Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture, MVA, Bank of Guam, CUC, Ambrose and all the Departments and Agencies for all their contribution to making this event possible.
