So I played Black Flag GTA V Red Dead Redemption 2 phantom pain I have played the Final Fantasy VII remake I have not played rebirth yet and I'm there is a game I love to play because of the interaction and the storyline too but I did not see it on your list and that is Skyrim
Take away the horror (zombie) and Dark Souls like games, and I've played pretty much everything on the list. My kids told me that I wasn't allowed to play GTA5 (not in my nature to be that nasty of a person), and I missed Breath of the Wild. Probably about half the list now that I'm rereading this. Of the remaining games, I have four or five installed across various platforms.
I think watch dogs 1 should have also been on this list. I know people love the sequel more than the original one because of its improved gameplay but the latter has a great story darker tone and the protagonist is cool AF. IMO the sound design of watch dogs 1 is also better than the 2nd one.
Really enjoy your videos. Minor request: can you specify how to access these games? I have a PS5 and some games I look up are only for PC, XBOX, or Ninendo.
@MrRoundthetwist Really enjoyed your video, but some of these games are not available on all platforms. I was suggesting that it would be helpful if you could let your viewers know which platforms they could be played on . I liked several of these games but they are not available for xbox
I wanted to like tw3.. between getting through most of first playthrough finding out several sets are impossible to complete as even the workarounds were botched. The shops getting slower and slower.. jank combat.. at least one of the underwater pois being almost pure luck as the camera was terrible.. i could go on.. Cyberpunk releasing entirely unplayable is another issue with cdpr.. how much of what was promised did they actually deliver on?
I don’t think you are right about sets not being able to be completed. If you don’t like the combat I am guessing you are playing on the easiest mode. When you switch up then the combat has to be supplemented by the skill tree and making right potions. I played the game 3 times and each time I played it differently. It’s as sandbox as possible with such a big story. The main quest is linear, so you can travel around the map as much as you want and take on bosses that are much more powerful than you but you got to go back to complete each step of the main story(mind you, you only see all with making right choices. Some quests are extended by another 10% if you make a right choice). So, in that sense the game limited but again, GTAV main story also has to be completed in order. If you want to play a game where you can do whatever you want play Breath of the Wild(the sequel, Tears of the Kingdom has more linear main story, so you need to do things in order to complete everything). Regarding Cyberpunk, the game is in a very good shape with the last December update really making it special. It didn’t deliver on all the promises(what they promised all those years ago will only probably be possible in GTA6 based on technology) but the game is fun and the story is very good.
@JS-bh3pz when I looked up the issues using videos pictures and walkthroughs 2 of which included said workarounds that still didn't work to get 1 or more pieces of sets. Tried on 3 different saves. I'm not knocking the story barring tiny windows side quests as in if you don't follow npc immediately it fails. When a character model jumps and/or rolls knee high but is held in place dying because there's a stick that's not even ankle high I'd say there's an issue there. Shops the more you sold the slower they got by the end of my playthrough it was slower than a fully detailed and LOADED map of aoe2 on a computer that can barely run age of empires 2. Go on another tangent I'll start finding more than my own personal experiences with it.
@ listen, everyone has own taste which is great. I for example hate Red Dead Redemption 2 while love Part 1. When I watch a movie and 1 character flies from LA to Paris I don’t really want watch someone sitting on plane for 10 hours rewarding a paper. I want scenes jump from 1 country to another and that is it. To me Read Dead Redemption 2 is beyond slow I can’t take it. I asked not to criticize. I genuinely played the game 3 times and the only 2 bugs I encountered in the next gen version happen in Skellige where you can just basically walk around the room to find the right spot to move forward and in the Blood and Wine expansion when certain things happen at certain times even though it’s not suggested to be that way. I only wondered what you can’t complete. The game was also in a bad state when it first came out to be absolutely honest. Regarding the shops you are right. I used the centre of Novigrad to sell most of the junk most of the game but when it slows down you can start playing the Treasure Hunts as most treasures are diagrams for swords, armour etc. I only played that way the 3rd time and I was shocked that by not doing that I never actually completed most quests from the Kearl Mohren(probably not correct spelling). I can’t get used to playing other way round when in other games shops have unlimited money or stock. Regarding the animations you are also correct. Some scenes are set to end up in a certain place f.e arena fight in Blood and Wine always finishes with a certain animation, so there are possibilities of not matching it with the actual fight(I think you need to end towards the middle to match the ending animation) and it does look odd. To complete 100% of the game on mid level ( death march would take longer as you don’t heal from meditation) it took me about 200h to do every single thing plus both expansions.
@JS-bh3pz the roll/jump example was numerous times throughout the game ranging from unimportant fodder to large enemies. You say everyone's entitled to opinions I stated my personal experiences that I had and reliably had recur multiple times in a single playthrough yet you started off attempting to discredit it. When games get touted around and devs get touted around expect there to be very different opinions. ESPECIALLY with performance. 99% of my gripes with the witcher 3 are performance/coding issues. Try again.
@JS-bh3pz and by the time the playthrough was done every shop keep in game was barely usable. And that's coming from someone who puts up with jrpgs with 5 sec+ loads EVERY start and end of battles.
im happy that you chose black flag. still my favourite AC game.
Immortal Fenyx Rising is so amazing and fun game.
Great list. I'm so glad you included MGSV. It's an incredible game. Thank you! 👍
I own everyone on these games and completed 75% of them

MGSV is so addicting to play love how there's many way to complete missions with extra objectives for replayability.

Is there an open world sandbox without all the combat?
No Man’s Sky. The Forest (on peaceful mode I think it’s called). There are others.
mine craft
What platform ?
Take your pick
