I didn’t realize how big Long Beach’s campus really is! I feel like this campus and school is perfect for anyone wanting to live that “city, los angeles, laid back, beach, retro, california” life.
Love the quality of this video and the campus. LB State needs to sponsor you! THIS should be the OFFICIAL campus tour. The other campus tours I’ve seen from this campus is a joke. - high school prospective student. Your page is definitely helping me out during the application process.
Thank you so much for this campus tour. I graduated from CSULB many many years ago. I haven't been to the campus since I was a student. It was nice to try to remember the campus, but of course so many changes after so many years. I use to live right across the street from the Campus. Thanks again!
Csulb is omy god...such a wonderful university. love love this university. caring staff, beautiful campus and just in great neighborhood. The beach is close by...just lots of stuff to do...
Thanks for watching and congrats on your acceptance. San Jose is a bit out of my current geographic range for filming, but if I'm ever in the area I will certainly consider it.
Your videos are great. I enjoy them a lot. Now I am curious to know why there are no windows in the Psychology building? Would it be possible to find out why?
Hello, Great Video BTW! I was hoping if we could use some clips of buildings for our class project this semester. it would be greatly appreciated since we can't go on campus ourselves due to covid.
Of the ones I visited, I would say San Marcos due to its location near natural open space, and its master-planned layout and newer buildings and facilities.
Hello, I am co-producing a video for CSULB's Spring 2021 graduating film class and am wondering if my team can use your video for b-roll? Thank you and have a nice day!
Hi! I’m most likely planning to commit to Long Beach State over all my college decisions! How would you describe the surrounding area near campus? Is the beach close walking distance? Thanks in advance!! :)
Hi there. I'm not too familiar with the neighborhood beyond my visit to the campus that day, but it is a densely populated, urban area of mixed commercial and residential. I parked in a residential neighborhood across the street from campus. In terms of relative safety, the area seemed fine. It is not walkable to the beach, but it might be bikeable. Belmont Shore is one of the closest beaches and, IMO interesting because of the kiteboarders there. Thanks for watching. - D
That's a good question. I was impressed with both campuses, and they seemed similar to me in size and scope of facilities. Having walked so many campuses for this channel, I do start to appreciate some nuances. CSULB seemed more like a UC campus, maybe more research-oriented? That's just the vibe I got, not necessarily a fact. LB's neighborhood seems more urban, and F more suburban. I think the physical amenities of the campuses are similar, and if I were making a choice between the two, I would look at other factors such as academics (which school has the better program and reputation for my field of study), cost, housing, etc.
How far do you think it was to walk from the liberal arts buildings to parkside college? I’m going to be dorming there, but since I only have one in-person class there, I’m debating on whether to just walk or to use the shuttle.

Yes, the campus is huge and took me over 4 hours to walk! I was very impressed. Thanks for watching.
Just committed to Long Beach’s School of Nursing (now ranked 2nd in the nation) over SDSU and UCI! I’m excited to be apart of the beach community!!
Congrats I'm still torn between UCI and CSULB. However, I'm definitely leaning more toward CSULB
I just got accepted and will most likely attend!! LB has always been my dream school. This makes me so excited to hopefully study on campus!!!
Good luck, and thanks for watching!
GO BEACH!!! Love this video!! LBSU needed an updated campus tour on youtube! Thank you!!

Great video! Do you think you can do UCLA or UC Riverside in the future?
They are on the list! Not yet sure when I can get to them, but I will certainly try. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching! Really not sure about the Psych building, but I intend to walk the campus again when it is back to normal, so I'll ask.

Yes, you may. If there's an opportunity to credit my channel, that's appreciated though not necessary.
If you had to pick the most beautiful CSU campus, which one would it be? San Marcos, Bakersfield, Fullerton, Long Beach, or any other campus?
Of the ones I visited, I would say San Marcos due to its location near natural open space, and its master-planned layout and newer buildings and facilities.

Great video! did you have to get permission to be on campus? I’m thinking of visiting but I’m not sure if they just let ppl on campus. Thank you!
No permission needed, just walk right on. But all buildings closed so you can't go inside. Thanks for watching!
Do you like LB or Fullerton's campus better?
