Nothing like getting to know your "rig" by walking around with the operator's manual Out & grease gun in hand. The " grease- monkey" procedures really help to have you get to Know your Tractor. There are ALL WAYS lose & missing fasteners with the occasional " dangling " apparatuses. My "biggest rig" (a TLB) has 54- yes Fifty-four grease(zirk) fittings. The procedure takes 1&1/4 bare-minimum tubes with an average of 3-5 pumps--& at least 35miniutes! Done this whole procedure about 70-80 times in the last 925hours.The result has been 500.oo$ worth of high-end grease & ZERO PROBLEMS! Just wondering about that " leak-o-matic ,right angle converta-later" you have "slapped on" the the end of the hose? My "flez-a-matic" ( positive 6 position locking " & "clunky" end doesen t leak a drop! I usually go "direct drive" with a 10" tube with a 40° bend--Werks every time on EVERY Thing! Thank you Sir for the great Vidio and happy safe tractoring.
Get the lock 'n lube (or similar) locking grease fitting for the end. Saves a lot of grease, and makes it lock onto the fitting so it doesn't pop off. Good job on lubing that tractor.
No grease fittings on my front end like yours. The tym 264 had grease fittings in that location. Maybe they copy and pasted the service manual from that one. I've got a tym t25. Same tractor, more or less. Thanks for the video!
We have the same setup, same tractor and same soft garage. I dont have grease fittings on my tie rod ends either. They are probably maintenance free like a lot of cars. Check you backhoe bolts. I had one fall out of the angle brackets the hold the back hoe on. I also noticed one that had a bolt that is too short as well. Dealer is supposed to be getting me the correct bolts. My ROPS bolts also lost their nuts and washers the first week. So check all of you bolts.
Awesome! okay, that is good to know I'm not the only one with no grease fitting there. i think you are right they must be the maintenance-free kind. I also lost a bolt on my rops must be a common problem. Thanks for the heads up!
Stumbled across your page. The grease fitting on the front…. They got the upgraded sealed units. None of the RK Tractors have that fitting on the front. The manual is also written for other tractors that tym manufactures. Not everything applies. Check out our channel.
