I've ventured inside some of those caves in Meghalaya. But, Don't understand at all why you are mentioning "sandstone cave"? These are geologically and popularly known limestone caves formed by huge network of underground drainage system. The stalactites and stalagmites are deposited calcium carbonates from dissolution of limestone. Pl correct the narrative asap
