I wish we get another good one from the Mainland again...

I am so sad that a conflict between them originated. Mainly due to misconceptions which graduated upto misunderstandings blown up by their haters, agencies & fans, beyond proportion. The untamed and the word of honour are by far the best to BL Chinese dramas that you can come back to them and watch them over and over again and never get bored of them. The actors are remarkable. I have watched them several times and I still find something interesting in each drama. It’s like going treasure hunting in the same place every time, and every time you find something new.

If you guys like The untamed and Word of honour, then I suggest the drama " The Guardian" , it is also bl adaption but not bl ( due to chinese sensorship law). The thing is that before untamed bring the massive wave Guardian was the most popular bl adaption from mainland China. Even untamed was possible because of how massive The Guardian's popularity was back then . In addition unlike TU and WOH Guardian's production quality and script standard was really bad because they had to change almost all important story plots , the novel lovers were really pissed and heavily criticised the scriptwriter and producers. But still the drama became huge success because of main lead 's chemistry and acting , their chemistry was so good that the people who hated the drama for script still comeback because of male leads bromance . Also unlike TU And WOH, which are idol fantacy period drama the male leads of Guardian's were real actors ( mean they came to industry as actors not as idol then actor). That’s why so many scenes they improvised and add nuance themselves out of direction were really amazing and these little things made the drama beyond everyone's expectations. Even two leads of the drama became overnight sensation after this drama. So in case you want to watch good bl adaption story I recommend Guardian because without this drama TU or WOH wouldn't be possible

After The Untamed and Word of Honor, i can't found (bl) drama that have this same level. From acting, plot even the ost, this 2 drama are absoulute A list. The recent drama that have similiar vibe and good quality is Mysterious Lotus Casebook (thought that not a bl, but the bromance or brotherhood so strong). The opening ost singer MLC is WoH opening singer too, make me feel nostalgic.
U should watch guardian its by the same author also blood of youth is really similar to mysterious lotus casebook. Also legend of nobleman is really good

Broke my SOUL!!! I have only watched this show once and that is it. After the first pair died on their wedding day and then him saving his love and getting the grey hair. It took me forever to finish because of the sad bits but once I did, you could not tell me they weren't meant to be together!!

In addition unlike TU and WOH Guardian's production quality and script standard was really bad because they had to change almost all important story plots , the novel lovers were really pissed and heavily criticised the scriptwriter and producers. But still the drama became huge success because of main lead 's chemistry and acting , their chemistry was so good that the people who hated the drama for script still comeback because of male leads bromance . Also unlike TU And WOH, which are idol fantacy period drama the male leads of Guardian's were real actors ( mean they came to industry as actors not as idol then actor). That’s why so many scenes they improvised and add nuance themselves out of direction were really amazing and these little things made the drama beyond everyone's expectations. Even two leads of the drama became overnight sensation after this drama. So in case you want to watch good bl adaption story I recommend Guardian because without this drama TU or WOH wouldn't be possible

Isn’t he amazing! At first I thought “who is this annoying man?”…but he made me fall completely in love with this character! The personality he brought to Wen Kexing couldn’t have been more perfect. My favorite series ever!

After The Untamed and Word of Honor, i can't found (bl) drama that have this same level. From acting, plot even the ost, this 2 drama are absoulute A list. The recent drama that have similiar vibe and good quality is Mysterious Lotus Casebook (thought that not a bl, but the bromance or brotherhood so strong). The opening ost singer MLC is WoH opening singer too, make me feel nostalgic.
U should watch guardian its by the same author also blood of youth is really similar to mysterious lotus casebook. Also legend of nobleman is really good

Broke my SOUL!!! I have only watched this show once and that is it. After the first pair died on their wedding day and then him saving his love and getting the grey hair. It took me forever to finish because of the sad bits but once I did, you could not tell me they weren't meant to be together!!
