The specs appear to be basically identical to the Swampfox Sentinel (auto brightness variant). The Sentinel has an optional steel armor shield you can buy, but lacks the motion detector and total shutoff feature. They do have options for green instead of red and you can get manual adjust variants instead of auto adjust - can't have both though. Speed and functionally of the auto brightness seem to be very close between the Sentinel and the 01, and even with constant on, if a Sentinel in red is carried concealed in darkness you get over a year of battery - I've owned a Sentinel for two years now.
Price is very similar.
This is tempting but on the Mossberg MC2c I'm planning on buying next, I think I'll run a Sentinel again.

Does it mount directly to the slide or use the plastic adapter?
I have 2, on my Canik SFX and SFT. both are very reliable, like the auto brightness and they easily zero. 👍 like the rubber hood as well.
I just ordered this red dot for my rival, i'm more of a holosun fanboy but i'm going to give this one a chance.
Me too still prefer holosun but for the price it’s works and that’s what really matters. But make sure you fill out the warranty card as soon as you get it. That’s key I’m aware of 2 people getting theirs and it didn’t work. All the others worked fine from my understanding but 2 had issues. If you don’t feel out the warranty card it’s a major pain to get them to fix it.

Can you speak to the mecanik .7mm interface plate?
Looks like a pretty nice sight! Any idea if I’d need a plate for a shield plus? I am looking at the Shield SMSc and like that it sits low and complete cowitness. This looks a bit thicker! I’d like to see the sight picture on a Plus.

We don’t carry them and I’ve never had a pleasure of shooting one but if it has a shield SMSC micro foot print yes if not you’ll need a plate that fits that.

Has anyone here made the mistake of overturning a red dot adjustment past the point of no return? I foolishly made this mistake on my M02, now i have no adjustment updown, left or right... if
so, how did you fix it?.. or can you?

@dukessportshop NO, I bought it online from a shop in Florida and had it sent to an FFL here in Wisconsin. I bought the Rival S chrome with the M02 sight.
The focus on the camera was throwing me off.

Sorry man I’m not a professional videographer I’ll try my best but this gig for us is simply a paid hobby by the shop, no plans on becoming a professional content creator maybe iPhone 15 will have better stability
Has anybody put a substantial amount of rounds through it?
I put 1000 battery needed change during the first 2 months new battery it lasted 6 months then died. Lost zero after battery died had to re zero it. I prefer Holosun

Well don’t have it anymore so thats the update didn’t survive a defensive class training. I’ll just keep with holosuns

Mine broke after 2 days of owning it
What broke? So far after 4months had to change battery out as night time I couldn’t see my dot. Switched battery out seemed to fix the problem.. going to see if it dies again in another 4 months if it does it will be moved onto a range gun.

@@Stevelemo 2 months.. dot started to dim again. Change battery bright again… my recommendation now is it works it’s cheaper bu buy lots of batterie. Meanwhile I have a holosun 507C V1 bottom mounted battery, whose battery lasted from 2018 till last month..

@@Stevelemo hit an miss from my conversation with some who bought them from us seems the first batch had the battery draining issue and the latest batches so far seem better haven’t heard a battery draining complaint yet on them.
