This video is awesome. I honestly just wanted to check it out but ended up watching the entire thing. Could have watched another hour. Fellow Jam lovers unite!
By their very nature (it's even in their name!) preserves are cooked in a way that makes them last pretty long, because it was one of the only ways to keep perishable items intact during the winter. So it'll keep for a while once opened, and a long ass time if you leave it sealed.
I got so excited when you started to talk about chutney. It's delicious in curries. I use it when something native is too spicy for me. Sweetens and adds a soft flavor!
If I had to pick one word to describe you...it'd probably be.... sophisticated. You have an amazing grasp of the English language that is rare for any age.
I really got my hopes up when you mentioned the Nordic countries, blue and white but, alas, it was blue and yellow. Blue and white are associated with Finland, but the jar's blue and yellow are indeed Swedish. By the way, if you ever come by cloudberry jam, I highly recommend it. It can be a bit pricy but having some cloudberry jam and goat cheese on rye bread is oh so delicious. Great video and best regards from a Finnish jam lover!
*puts arms as high as he can in the air in an effort to convey "Huh?"* But what are you talking about, sir? *stuffs hand down his own pants, pulls out fresh waste, forces it in the unicorn's mouf*
yeah currants (especially blackcurrants) are a jam-item here in the Nordic countries. But if you really want to do an exotic jam, go for cloudberry jam. thoroughly recommendable!
Very nice video. I like when you talk softer in your role plays instead of full on regular voice as it relaxes me more, and this one seemed like that a bit more. Thank you!!
Ah! I also love jams and preserves and food and cooking and all that goodness! If you're ever in cincinnati you should go to a grocery called Jungle Jim's. has tons of really good and hard to find jams from all over the world. Huge selection of stonewall kitchen, tons of international jams especially from Europe. Some great British ones. Not to mention a wide variety of other international and unique foods. Highly recommend. And loved the video, though not in an asmr way. Too excited about the jams to relax :)
You know those ASMR video that you find really relaxing but at the same time you just think to yourself "what the fuck am i watching"? Yeah this is one of those videos.
swedens flag is blue n white? ;)) great video.. u show all your talent on this one... the way u talk so professionally and complex about somethin so simple like jam xD awesome.. thats what causes tingles... one can see that ur a great actress Violet.. i also really like the Mango-Bites-Taste-Video... same reasons ;) keep it up seniorita.. sry for misspellings
Girl i wish i had a big sister like you, that did fun roleplays like this with me :) i would've been the most relaxed child^^ amazing performance, loved it
I pumped my fist when you got to the lingonberries. This video was great. All that talk of cheese and meats with jams on sandwiches was wonderful. Also, I finally learned what a chutney is. Just curious, how do you keep preserves from molding in the fridge?
Lord have mercy, I can't believe some of you folks are gritching about this video. Hell, I could listen to this woman read the phone book for hours and hours!
I almost did a double take when I saw the fig spread--my mother used to buy that exact brand when I was young! If you're looking for a great sandwich, try it with prosciutto and ricotta cheese. It's delish!
Alexander J. Athanail Okay, I paused the video before you started going into your paninis, and so I only realized you'd already paired the spread with ricotta. I don't think I've ever felt more related to by another human.
Are Boysenberries slightly orangishly red in colour? I ate a berry at a restaurant once that was slightly sweet and also a bit tart, and burst with flavour in my mouth, and it was about the size of an average grape. Ever since I've been trying to discover what it was...
Felix lingonberries? Oh, man, you haven't tasted proper homemade lingonberry jam. Or raw, mixed with sugar to jamify it in twenty minutes. You're missing out, and yes it's extremely common. At least in Sweden :) And yes, currant jelly is a thing, though mainly reduced and gelatined into jello like consistency. It's delicious. I was so surprised to find out there aren't any currants in the States.
wooow . I just discovered this way of getting sleepy every night and it really work for my insomnia problems. but again the insomnia is good to write my songs . the sounds you do with your nails touching objects is so relaxing. thanks little girl . mmm I 'll see if I can find any of your videos reading a book. it will help me with my english also. can you please read some fantasy book..I don't know english literature..so ..any book you prefere is good.
Okay so it was definitely not a boysenberry, haha. I looked it up and they look like larger blackberries/raspberries. I went and got some boysenberry jam and it was actually quite nice! I think I'll try to go back to that restaurant and see if they still have that dish.
Miss you, Violet. Hope you're doing well, wherever life has taken you! Really glad your videos are still up
Don't need jam, that voice is already sweet enough for me.
Fig jam! Yum used to make it as a kid with my dad. Picked from our tree. Easy to make.
Still jamming out to this video in 2020
this is like one of my top 5 favorite asmr videos ever, i think about it everytime i have jam or paninis...
Your observational skills are astounding.
This video is awesome. I honestly just wanted to check it out but ended up watching the entire thing. Could have watched another hour. Fellow Jam lovers unite!
"its a very sweet, sticky kind of jam, it tastes....... just like raspberries"
that'll be the raspberry jam then!
"Quite good,quite good."
Thank you for the tingles and new jam ideas. There are several stores near me that I know will have them.
By their very nature (it's even in their name!) preserves are cooked in a way that makes them last pretty long, because it was one of the only ways to keep perishable items intact during the winter.
So it'll keep for a while once opened, and a long ass time if you leave it sealed.

That is the universe telling you to consume more jam, and faster.
Lingonberries are it! Lol It was awesome hearing your take on berries and spreads. Thanks for sharing!
I'm only able to listen for 3 minutes, than I fall in sleep. You're beaten Bob Ross :D
Your roleplays are always fantastic. So entertaining.
You are quite good at conversational acting. Best I've seen, anyways. Also, I want to get some jams and chutneys now.
PS. Nice kitchen.
The videos about your interests are the best ones! Painting and jam are my favorites
Great to have so many videos from you recently, giving the people what they want.

GOSH DARN IT I LOVE JAM!! My grandad used to make a really nice plum jam, I always remember having it on toast when I stayed over :)

Very nice video. I like when you talk softer in your role plays instead of full on regular voice as it relaxes me more, and this one seemed like that a bit more. Thank you!!

I live in NH. Stayed at a mountain top resort and they gave me currant preserves in a gift basket ... so they are a thing :)

As a swede, I didnt expect a can of lingonberries to pop up all of a sudden.
Good choice though! :)

Hmm, I must just have plain bad luck with the seals. I've had quite a few jars go moldy on me.
I pumped my fist when you got to the lingonberries.

Greetings from Sweden, I approve of this video. Lingonsylt (lingonberry jam) is really tasty!
I almost did a double take when I saw the fig spread--my mother used to buy that exact brand when I was young! If you're looking for a great sandwich, try it with prosciutto and ricotta cheese. It's delish!

My goal is one every 7-10 days in the summer, since I have to slow down when I'm at university.
I can honestly say I was not expecting a video about jam
I could listen to you say "boursin" all day.
Are Boysenberries slightly orangishly red in colour? I ate a berry at a restaurant once that was slightly sweet and also a bit tart, and burst with flavour in my mouth, and it was about the size of an average grape. Ever since I've been trying to discover what it was...

If I put fig spread on a fig newton what would happen? That question has kept me up terrified most nights. All joking aside great video as always!
Hmmm...you always struck me as a jam person. I also prefer jam to jelly. Strawberry for the win!
