Another great video. Enjoying this, as I watch it from "peace park". A property of "First Presbyterian Church of Cape Girardeau". Located on Broadway, downtown. I run the church's Livestream, every Sunday Morning at 10:45.
Wonderful video! So that's what those flat barges are used for. 🤔 Beautiful towboat! Like the green trim. Love the cursive style for the name! Thanks Bowzer! Take care.😊
I thought so too but that was the Michael Luhr. This video was prior to his so it's possible that the Michael Luhr turned the Twyla somewhere south of Cape maybe Cairo.
Cape Girardeau is where our offices were based out of when I worked on the lower Mississippi for Memco/AEP. It seemed like it would've been a really nice place to live. But we got paid per mile for travel to the office from wherever we lived so I made more money living hundreds of miles away plus it was always fun just flying down the interstate in my STI heading to Cape Girardeau, having a blast before another month stuck on a boat. lol. Greatest time of my life, easily.
You and The Towboater and Mark Twained work so well with us land locked towboat lovers. Thanks for entertaining me and others
Thanks! I watch his stuff too.
Beautiful production, Bowzer.
Thank you the calm peace is a welcome change

They have crew quarters for lots of deck crew. Nice boat, needs a front deck awning
I like those awnings too.

Mark Twained showed the Twyla south bound just above Vicksburg yesterday with what looked like the same tow
