Guys, I love the video, very nice catch. Just a tip from an old fisherman...Try holding the rod higher up with your left-hand next time. You will find it is much easier to reel...And easier on the back. Can fight for much longer with a large one that way. Again, nice video!

In oz they use a plastic clip with any size pyramid sinker that slides up and down your mainline, at the end attach a sweivel then a metre or so leader and hook, good set up for live baiting with a baitrunner reel
Here in Singapore, we called it Cable-Car Rig. ☺👍

@adventurewithkz love the channel as well as the fishing systems channel. Ive used your tips for drone fishing here in the states. Quick question can you slide bait with Braid? I run 65lb braid with roughly 20meters of mono leader. Next trip is in 2 weeks. Thanks man!

Again another great vid ... I hit the link to get some Slide Bait rigs above and it says "This page cant be reached " They look like a great way to fish for me here ... Off the rocks and I reckon off the beaches here as well .. I fish for Jewfish here off the beaches mainly..and in South Africa they use slide rigs over there for Cob / Jewfish which get up to 70kgs over there ..only 35kgs here in Queensland Australia .. So yer that website link doesnt work atm bro ? Thx in advance ... I use 'Black Magic' Circle hooks over here for live baits ..We have fish with really sharp teeth so circle better for me as always corner of the mouth ..and a lot better for catch and realease.. No gut hook or gill hook ..No bleeding ..and less blood ...less getting sharked ..Works better for me :) Again great vid ..Respect

I'm really hoping to try it out from the rocks in Bali but how about a two rod system, have you ever tried it and what are the pros and cons compared to a one rod system?
Hey man, that would be awesome!! have never actually had a go at the two rod system, but may look into it future for a play around.
@@AdventurewithKZ fair enough. I got interested in the two rod system because I've got a bum shoulder. It's basically the same concept except one rod like your SA surf casting rod goes out with just a weight and a rubber and bead stop. The rod is stationary with as much tension as you can put on it. Then your fighting rod line attaches to it with a sliding set up that breaks away when you hook up. That way you can use a light weight line to get more distance on the cast and you only need to make a long cast one time until you're ready to move to another location. Great for old guys like myself with old sports injuries. Cheers.

What is the Leader line length ?
80cm for trace line and around a metre for sinker line.
How heavy is the line weight?
can vary depending on gear used but if you go off the rod strength it can be a great place to start. e.g 20kg rod, go 20kg line.
