How sad it is to see so many places abandoned and not given to those that have no place to live. Such a beautiful timeless place. Your awesome how you give story to what is still there in a memory.
All abandoned houses are kinda sad, but this one just breaks my heart. 😢 Not just a family, but a beautiful way of life -- gone. And almost no one even notes the passing. Except you guys and your compatriots who so respectfully preserve the last dying gasps of times gone by. Thank you.
Hi dear Lisa, it breaks our heart too that such buildings with so much potential are just withering away and left unloved. It’s our biggest pleasure to take you with us on these time-travels, so we can appreciate these places all together and give them the recognition they deserve. Wow, I really like that use of words “dying gasps”. Might use it in the story-telling of one of our videos in the future. Thank you Lisa, and see you at the next one! 😊🙏🏼✨
@@Explomo Do you ever try to find out who may be able to take care of these items? I mean if they don’t want the house. That’s one thing, it’s another to let these priceless items rot.
@@Explomo I actually just discovered your channel today; I cannot put it down. I'm in the U.S. & I love older cars , tractors etc. Hats off to the both of you for bringing this to the viewing public. You don't harm anything, destroy anything; just show it . All amazing, all history 👍 . Once again I thank you. Be safe, especially when around black mold.
This place is truly the definition of "Time Capsule" because you say 40 years ago they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She was probably 18-20 years old when they married. There was no birth control back then so, the kids probably came along all in the first 10 years of marriage. That means that right now, her kids are in their 90's and her grandchildren are in their mid 60's which is retirement age. It also means that the great grandchildren are in their 30-40's. All the immediate relatives must have lived off the parents money and since she most likely refused to leave or vacate the family home, the place was probably run down by the time she passed. I bet her great grandchildren either don't know it's there or have forgotten that the place even exists. What a fascinating find, Mareno. Thanks for sharing.
So much land and lots of buildings with machinery…the wonderful abandoned autos…. And now into the tower… you always mention the beauty in the decay…. Your narrative is so goo. Could listen to you for hours. Happy to see no graffiti..newspaper from 1932.. unreal…. So much stuff just left. How does this happen? I can not understand…. Beautiful loving home…. Nice wall paper.. my heart weeps for the unknown family…. 90% of abandonments have sewing machines. They must have been an important item to have …. Thank you again for a great explore..,,
As with all your videos I'm always filled with lots of conflicting feelings; 'sadness' that everything has just been left to decay; a little 'anger' that all the wealth that's accumulated here to buy all these possessions has just been left, when so many people are i need; 'fascination' that comes with looking into another family's home and very personal life; 'excitement' about what you might find and great 'respect' for the way you explore, not wanting to disturb anything or steal anything. Wonderful videos thank you, I can't stop watching them.

It saddens me to see all of those antiques simply falling apart. A part of me wishes that people who'd have an appreciation and love for antiques, would rescue them before that unfortunate home falls completely to the ground. It'd be lovely if the actual remaining family could be contacted first, but if not successful in a search, well, so be it. If one individual hasn't a use of those treasure's, the next should have the opportunity of ownership. There's so much history in each item there and it should be able to continue its existence to bring joy to others. Thanks for sharing this incredible video...❤️🙏🏼🇺🇸

Beautiful scenery. I know once the main family members start to pass families start to fall apart. Death can turn them upside down. I just lost my aunt two days ago. She had kept my grand parents home to herself and all their things in it. It's still sitting abandoned since 2003. The home is falling apart and I'm sure will be demolished. While viewing the tower I thoroughly enjoyed the contrast between the decaying tower castle with the freshness of the small orange blossoms of the vegetation in it's overgrown state was a beautiful balance evoking the state of ruin. Well done.

I have to say this is an authentic time capsule, which needs to be addressed. Especially the books and letters. A movie could be made with having so much history to refer to. The pictures, letters, artifacts how the house looked everything right there waiting for someone to tell it's story to the world. Thank you for giving us a glimpse into the lives of some pretty amazing people.
It’s a shame seeing such buildings with so much potential just rotting away. Not to mention all the homeless and poor people in this world, as you mention, that could’ve been given a shelter here!
No hijos, no nietos, nadie...
Maria Margarita Garcia. I think the main reason these castles and manors fall apart is because it costs way too much to maintain them so no one wants them.
This location has so much history inside, so sad that it lies forgotten. Thank you for all the time you spend to share it with everyone. Stay safe, and hugs from America.

Hello from Marion, Indiana, USA. I recently found your channel and have been watching your videos. I’ve enjoyed them so much I subscribed AND turned on notifications. Rarely do I turn on notifications, in fact, out of a few dozen urbex channels I’ve subscribed there are only 3 with notifications turned on. Take care friend.
This is my first comment on any of your amazing videos....but I had to finally say that I really appreciate what you are doing! I'm stuck in rural Alberta Canada now for 2 years with no travel, an activity that I've always enjoyed and been inspired and replenished by. It must be something about connecting the dots so to speak within a human consciousness - I've always had a fascination for ancient, historical, traditional and first peoples ways of living, homes and articles of daily living, the art, design, and functionality of homes. So, thank you so very much for your documented adventures and discoveries - I feel as if I've been adventuring and it's helping so much with feeling depressed about not being able to do it physically - soon I hope. In this video in particular I loved the light fixtures in the tower building which had been made out of grape vines - it seemed that at one time this part of the farming complex was a celebration hall of some sort or communal gathering place for family to gather in larger numbers. Deepest respect and appreciation!
They had good taste in wallpaper. That child's room that has a sweeper sitting by thr t.v. I still have one just like it my mom had it since I could remember. Bissell sweeper
Mooi filmpje👍.
What a beautiful countryside view!!!! I like the garden and the wine farm 😍😍 i love it when nature and vegetations take over the place and the garden looks like a jungle!!! From the outside the chateau is really awesome, and i like the old cars! And from the inside, my favorite parts are the decaying bedroom and the outdoor kitchen 😂🤩 the wallpapers are also unique, the vintage stuff as well! It's precious to read the letters and to see all the photos and memories left behind, especially to see how true was the love between Mr. Gaston and his lovely wife Berthe ❤ Awesome find, big thanks 😁😘🤗💕
That was a manual hair trimmer. That also was a manual rug cleaner.in the USA we called them a Bissell cleaner. I loved both he sewing machine S . A very wonderful explore . So many photos. Thanks for everything in great detail.

Another great video, such a shame that so many homes get left with everything in them and nobody to take care of them so they are left to rot and decay xx
A note about the farm machinery. I noticed the large machine at the beginning of your explore. It was likely a hay baler, or a small combine for picking produce from their corn or bean fields. I think it's not likely a combine because of their vineyard for wine production. Likely a hay baler to get hay for either their cattle, or to sell to others.
Maureno..... once again a beautiful well done video!!! You guys find the best locations! I’m so happy when you post!! I have a request ..... so many times you come across really old books. Sometime could you look to see when it was published please.... its soooo very interesting so see the age of them and what they enjoyed reading and what was handed down to them. I share that fascination and passion for chateaus and castles with you Jacqueline! It’s such a shame to see it in such a state of disrepair. Thank you for giving us a glimpse into the lives of some pretty amazing people.

Such a great property going to waste away, what a shame when there are sooo many homeless people 😭
It’s a shame seeing such buildings with so much potential just rotting away. Not to mention all the homeless and poor people in this world, as you mention, that could’ve been given a shelter here!
Another beautiful video!!!!! Thanks for allowing me to sit and watch what you do!!!
Breaks my heart a family home left to decay. I wonder if some of the villagers know why the descendents didn't keep up the property.
No hijos, no nietos, nadie...
Maria Margarita Garcia. I think the main reason these castles and manors fall apart is because it costs way too much to maintain them so no one wants them.
Your videos are quite awesome... detailed and touchy
Nice find friends. You guys doing great job. Thanks for entertaining us. Exceptionally good.
This location has so much history inside, so sad that it lies forgotten. Thank you for all the time you spend to share it with everyone. Stay safe, and hugs from America.

My thought s for this exploration really got to me,l think this is one of your best stories, the way you have described things as you discovered them was straight from your heart and was transferred into ours. I thoroughly enjoyed this time with you at this wonderful home so far from where l live .l wish you all good things in live ….Thankyou from Lyn in Australia 🥰
The castle is really fantastic. Really amazing. I loved all details and memories.

Found your channel through “Bros of Decay”. Love your videos. Great work. Greetings from Canada!
Thank you Maureno for this fascinating explore 🙏🏻🤩👌🏻👍🏻🍀🍀🍀
You are most welcome Ramona! 😊🙏🏼✨
Glad you liked it again and see you at the next one
This place is a wonderful place the wall paper is great and I loved this place and two kitchens love this place
They had good taste in wallpaper. That child's room that has a sweeper sitting by thr t.v. I still have one just like it my mom had it since I could remember. Bissell sweeper
MERSI!!!

The French county side is so beautiful. This had to be beautiful in it's day.
France in general is a very beautiful country Mary, with lots of rural parts and countryside! This place must’ve been a great place to live in its heyday for sure 😊
I love the wall paper with the paysage !!! So vintage !
Hello Maureno! My dear explorer very unique Castle 🏰 very decayed but it is amazing place. The panoramic around absolutely Gorgeous 😍. I was trying see yesterday the video but it was stopped many times. Stay safe and many hugs 🤗 ❤ 💖 😷.

Thank you.
You can see how it must of looked like back in the day ,such a cosy home
Absolutely! This must’ve been a great place to live in its heyday 😊
Great explore. So sad that all those vintage pictures are going to be lost to decay. It must have been lovely living there back in the day.
Thank you so much for all you go thru to bring us wonderful content and Family stories!! Take care!!!

Espectacular !!!
I've only watched for a few minuets and I'm so in love with the castle and house. I am fascinated. I think I will start buying lotto tickets. Castles in UK have been restored. I want this one. King Alfred is one of my distant great Grandfathers. I am destined to live in a castle LOL LOL. going back now to watch the rest of this wonderful video ❤️❤️
Feel a little sad now. I just checked out King Alfred on Ancestry and he is now listed as my step grandfather Oh well I'll get over it LOL ❤️❤️
I share that fascination and passion for chateaus and castles with you Jacqueline! It’s such a shame to see it in such a state of disrepair. Only to imagine what a great place this could possibly make to live and stay if it was restored back to its former glory! I hope you can make your dream come true one day to live in a castle - remember it’s never too late!!!
Anyway, enjoy the rest of the video and take care. We see you at the next one 😊🙏🏼✨
I much thank you for showing us the photos.
👏👏👏👏 from Canarias!
Hi Fabi! The Canarias are beautiful! What a blessing it must be to live there. I have almost visited all Canarian Islands, including Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. Which island do you come from? 😊
Thanks for the detailed tour.
Hello guys from Explomo, I really liked the video many details to see and know a little about the people who lived there, How sad that their offspring did not keep the photos, the identity documents etc. A hug from Venezuela. 😊👍
Wow! What a magnificent view of the countryside. Look at all that land.
Can you imagine after dinner, sitting outside with a glass of Pinot.
👋😁🍷"Bon Appetit"
🍃Nature with it's beautiful decaying way, has added to this home, such an unforgettable visual to your video.🍃
WOUAW !!!! Love letter ! It's very moving ! .... 💖💖💖💖
Bellissimo video
Thank you! The bizarro wallpaper in the stairwell and upstairs hallway was like Dante's Hell and made me dizzy! You rocked this strange site!
Another great place
