My wife and I enjoy your videos a lot. Good to see you're finally in my hometown. You should try Oc & Lau, banh xeo at Quan Mii or Banh Xeo Boys at Rodeo 39, Khoi Hung for bo luc lac and their lamp chops. Hope you and Chau enjoy your time here in OC.
it is a so refined video Kyle. it might just be a food reviewing video but you have lift it up to whole another level personally. Your persona that you put in the vid is why it's unique. I dont know how long it takes you to put such insights thoughts into your videos but I do respect it man. Keep it up. cheers!
Best video ever!!!! These are the kind of videos that are so helpful!!! Love Kyle's humor and Chau's.....whatever it is about her, she's unique, in a very good way.
You finally made this video. In the last few years, whenever I visit OC I always check your channel and thought to myself Kyle must have done a video about OC food hot spots. But nope and I do it every time 😆
Whattt??? Wow. Well lemme tell you, I think your coffee is really great. For that traditional style, this is the top place. I still need to try your pate chaud.
Yo Kyle, I really enjoyed the video of the 10 best places. Thanks again it’s really entertaining to watch a Vlog specially, here in Vietnam at 8 o’clock. Thanks a lot bro.
Watching your videos over the years you talked about the street food Banh Xeo. But I live in Fresno, Ca and no Vietnamese restaurant had this on there menu. So one day I visited Chateau Brodhard in Garden Grove. It was outstanding, it became my favorite Vietnamese meal. Sadly 3 months later I went back and the Banh Xeo was lacking. I had a new neighbor, a Vietnamese family, And I told them I wish a restaurant made Banh Xeo here. The following week the grandma made me the best Banh Xeo ever. Now she makes it every 3-4 months for me. I'm a lucky guy.
Bun bo hue to me top any soup dish. My goal is to try every bun bo hue restaurant every city I go to. My favorite so far is still in houston. Maybe I'm a little biased. Still have other cities to try.
I am liking a few places that I haven't gone to yet and love some of the places I have gone to via your vid. Thanks for the haps. And I LOVE GALA'S COFFEE ❤
Bro I approved your Vietnamese 10 Must-Try Viet Dishes. This would be my Viet Top 10 Must-Try in no particular order: 1. Vietnamese Pho(Beef/Chicken) 2. Banh Canh Cua 3. Banh Cuon 4. Com Tam 5. Bun Rieu 6. Bun Bo Hue 7. Banh Tam Bi 8. Banh Mi 9. Banh Xeo 10. Bo la Lot
Ha, If you're gonna do the carbs, gotta do em right! I saw lots of this places when I was there for Tết but most were closed. Next time it will be a glutfest Armageddon. 😀 That duck broth looked amazing.
It’s great video to watch and very lovely it’s made by the third generation Vietnamese in USA to show to young Vietnamese how good Vietnamese food from all over the word 👍👍👍like and subscribed for your channel young man ❤
great video. che hien khanh is the best deserts place in orange county. you can check out 98shabu grill buffet in westminster. vietnamese lau and nuong style. and 405 noodle-pot. in westminster (new location). banh khot vung tau in fountain valley, ca. hope you will have great trip in oc. and have fun . happy new year.
Vỹ Dạ gotta have one of the best Bun Bo in the United States. I've never been to the East coast, but from the midwest to the Pacific NW, Vy Da is the best in my opinion. Too bad no longer live in SoCal. I wanted to recommend you Phở Gõ (a couple blocks north of bún bò Vỹ Dạ, also on Brookhurst) for chicken Pho, but I just found out they went out of business not too long ago. :(
Thanks for shooting, editing, narrating, and uploading this excellent video to your channel. The USC film school tuition was well worth it. Have been checking out your channel ever since the Old Boy Saigon days 😂 May you have a great 2023 rabbit year! Macau, Hong Kong, and China are finally opening up once again post Covid. Please visit us in Macau again if your travel schedule brings you back to Asia 🙂🤙🤙🤙
Please try Sasha Deli for Bahn Mi in Westminster. It never shows up in searches for Bahn Mi because of the name. I think they bought an old business and didn’t change the name. There is no English inside. All Vietnamese. So incredibly good. The same style bread as Lees but so much better and it doesn’t cut your mouth.
dude. bro. my back yard! if you had only 1 meal before you went away for 3 months, where would you go in Little SaiGon? there're are so many good/great places there in little SaiGon.
Those same pastries cost about $1.50 in the "asian" part of Houston, and I believe they are 3 for $3, I can't believe you can get them for $1 each in California, much less LA. Also I get the feeling when he said something to drink she was thinking alcohol, but when he said blood that caught her totally off guard
We only eat like this for short periods of time when it comes to eating. My daily meals consists being on keto and only eating once a day, two Costco hamburger Patties, two eggs, four pieces of bacon, broccoli, pork grinds, avocado. Sometimes I will mix it up and replace the hamburger with salmon but that’s it. That’s my diet when I’m not filming. And I’ll eat the same thing every day and will rarely diverge unless I’m on the road or for some occasion.
Personally disagree. I've had it several times and each time was hit or miss. It's over hyped with bad service. Only famous because it's owned by Lynda Trang Dai.
@@aznmochibunny Well I introduced it to my wife’s family and they love it. You have to heat it in the oven until golden brown and the bread crunchy and then put on the veggies and pickles with a line of soy sauce. The meat and the shredded chicken are pack with flavor. The meat does not have porky smell like most places.
What other places are worth trying in Little Saigon?
Have you seen my last day in Vietnam video? ua-cam.com/video/yDcCLv3FwcQ/v-deo.html
Yeah, I try to keep up-to-date on all your Vlogs. I enjoy them. Thanks a lot this one was really special because I was eating soup at the time.
Go to garlic and chives. I think the plaza is call " mall of fortune"

Original Che Hien Khanh on Westminster & Kerry, Try Brodard, Omomoe Boba in Irvine

Who else remembers when a banh mi dac biet was $2.50 and a large beef pho was $6.99 😪 Now it’s $6 and $16 for both?? Rip 💀
I had a banh mi heo quay somewhere not too long ago and it was like 9 something in garden grove... and yes, pho is like over 14-15 now...
I remember $40 street hookers.
@James Lai nep is bomb
pho in Portland is like $18-$20 🥲
INFLATION and whoever you voted Matter 🤷♂

Bro. I’m sure she’s #1 on the MUST-TRY list for you. # 0.5 perhaps. It comes before # 1
Just moved to little Saigon in GG. THANK YOU! 🎉

Hey Kyle, Gala is our family bakery. Glad you liked the pate chaud and coffee! Two locations to choose from.
Whattt??? Wow. Well lemme tell you, I think your coffee is really great. For that traditional style, this is the top place. I still need to try your pate chaud.

You have me wanting to fly to Little Saigon--everything looked so good.

What’s the restaurant name in Houston? I’d like to try when I visit Houston, I love BBH too.
@@Vnexpress1203 bun bo hue duc chuong 3. The one off of gulf freeway. Not the one in china/viet town.

Banh cuon : Thanh Tri the new place .
I love the pho ga there! Been there only once. Banh tieu is my fave too
I'm from OC. Try the heo quay banh mi from Carrot & Daikon. Pho from Pho Lu is good too.
One strange thing about this video is I didn't see one South Vietnamese Flag? The OC South Vietnamese are great and we are lucky to have them.
Gotta try bánh tiêu with hot/warm soy milk (sữa đậu nành) its the best combo 😜
The best Vietnam foods there

Are you going to take Châu to Lu Coffee? :)
